Dr. Louis Morales, MD

I have 3 plastic surgeries in '83, '84 & '85.yes, it was a while back but I've had 3 other surgeons. his work has worked very well for me through the years. good man.

Do not go to Louis Morales for rhinoplasty!!!! My nose and face have been ruined and not able to be fixed!! He completely deformed my nose. The entire tip was turned sideways! My nose was left lopsided, uneven, extremely asymmetrical and completely deformed! Half of one nostril was gone and it was left short and piggy as well. It was so deformed that it also collapsed inside on one side. It cost me twice as much to have revision surgery by another surgeon (who was a double certified ent and cosmetic surgeon) and ended up requiring extensive functional\reconstruction surgery, - do over septoplasty, osteotomy, turbondectomies, ear cartilage grafts to completely rebuild the middle of my nose and additional cosmetic surgery on the tip which was not able to be fixed!!!! My nose is permanently ruined. I also suffered through much pain, humiliation, and so much stress that half my hair fell out!! The only reason he has no malpractice cases against him is because there are no lawyers in this… state willing to do cosmetic lawsuits unless you die and because surgeons stick together and do not want to testify against each other or lose money by going to court. It is so unfair to the innocent people that are left injured. If I could post a picture you would be stunned! There is no justice and nothing to warn others to prevent more people from having their lives destroyed. He should not be doing rhinoplasty!!!!

I trusted him to fix my son's ears, which were lopped. Not only did he do a terrible job, he was rude, dismissive, and blamed me for complications that arose later. I wish I would have done more research.

My daughter had suffered for over 4 years from severe headaches because the cartlidge in her nose had grown abnormally. Dr. Morales did an amazing job on her nose. Everything he told us went exactly as he said. He spoke to us before the surgery, to make sure all of our questions were answered and in general made us very comfortable in this stressful situation. Good news..NO more headaches!!! I hope to never need his expertise again, but if I do we will be seeing him again!!

Dr. Morales did an incredible job on my 7 month old son's cranial vault remolding surgery for lambdoid craniosynostosis. My son's entire head was completely deformed, but after the surgery, he looked normal with a completely round head! Many other mothers with babies with lambdoid are displeased with the outcome of the surgery, but Dr. Morales worked miracles! Dr. Morales and his whole staff were competent, kind, caring, and good listeners. They answered every question with patience before and after the surgery. He came highly recommended by many people at Primary Children's Medical Center as "one of the best," and he is!

I consulted with 12 local plastic surgeons for my BA/BL. Dr. Morales had the whole package, experience, respected by peers, internationally renowned, passion for his craft, confidence, good nature, great schooling, wonderful staff...it's no wonder he is the only plastic surgeon in Utah to be recognized as one of the "Best Doctors in America"
