Louisa Rygh, PhD

Dr. Louisa Rygh is an attending psychologist in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Boston Children’s Hospital and an instructor of psychology in the Department of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. She specializes in child and adolescent psychology, with clinical interests that include pediatric behavioral health, emotional development, and neurodevelopmental support for children with complex medical conditions. Dr. Rygh is affiliated with programs such as the Cardiac Neurodevelopmental Program and the Fontan at Boston Clinic, where she works closely with multidisciplinary teams to support the psychological well-being and developmental needs of pediatric patients and their families. She earned her undergraduate degree from Notre Dame College and completed her graduate training at Jackson State University, followed by a psychology internship at Boston Children’s Hospital and a fellowship at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
