This oncologist is probably stretched too thin in various MSK locations to be accessible.

Lazy and seemingly uneducated.. lack of urgency lead to increased suffering, pain, and quicker death of my parent.

She’s the best. Dr LiGresti makes you feel like your her only patient. She treats her patients like they were family..

Dr. Ligresti is a brilliant, caring and dedicated physician. Her grace and kindness make us, her patients, feel safe and secure. This combination of professionalism and sensitivity is a great gift, and is deeply appreciated.

Dr. Ligresti is wonderful. She is caring, attentive and fully involved in the care and treatment of her patients. She has a very calming demeanor and considers all aspects of the patient. You feel as if you are her only patient, always with her full attention. She is simply the best!

Dr. Ligresti is an amazing doctor. She is compassionate and will listen to you and not rush you out of her office. She exhausts all possible resources to help with your issues. I love her!!

Dr. Ligresti gives her patients adequate time and answers questions that are asked. I find her to be very thorough and not afraid to order the necessary tests needed. I appreciate her as my doctor, she has a listening ear, understands her patient's needs. I find she gives you the best attention possible. I do agree the wait time is long, I do not know if its because she is overbooked or just she spend the necessary time with each individual. I to was diagnosed with cancer and I trust God in my recovery and healing because Doctor's are conduit's that are given their gifts and talents. In agreement some of the office staff are not the most friendly and pleasant people to encounter in moments like these in a person's life but not everyone of her office staff have a disgruntled demeanor. Therefore it is unfair to tag them all the same in their actions. In comparison to the other office staffs I have encountered they just do not have that personal touch and compassion. We… have to just be thankful and keep it moving. This is what appears to me and my connection since I am her patient.

does not return patient's phone calls. I went online to find answers. I wanted to know results of ONCO test-went to their site and discovered results had been sent to doctor week's before, but no one from the office called me or responded to my phone calls. Initial visit was good. But forget patient calling for answers to their questions. I have only seen her once and debating if I really want to return. I am suppose to return in Jan. after radiation treatments are completed.

My advice, having direct experience with her is you better be engaged. She missed some critical, pedestrian things from a pure lack of attention to detail that qucikly made us seek care elsewhere- and because of this, it significantly altered how the patient got treatment. Besides being angry that she was putting us on a course based on assumptions without actually looking at the data, I was embarrassed for her. she was inconsiderate to the effect her handling of our case had on the patient during what is a stressful, scarey time. Once she actually engaged and caught her mistakes, her "corrections" were refuted and treating hospital had "no idea" what they possibly were looking at. Would never recommend her to anyone going through cancer.
