Took my son in on Monday because his asthma was recurring more frequently and he felt he had an ear infection. After waiting for over a month for the appointment that originally was suppose to be a follow up from an er trip. Some nurse calls me the day of the appointment and tells me if my son was going to be there at 11am (his appointment was at 4pm) she proceeds to tell me that she spoke to him in the morning and he had agreed first of all the nurse that called spoke Spanish and my son doesn't speak Spanish. Second the only number they have is mine and no one called not only that my son never answers my phone. I let her know that we would be at our scheduled time. When we got there the nurse proceeds to speak Spanish and again I inform her that my son only speaks English if she could please speak English so he can understand. When she takes us back to the exam room the doctor proceeds to speak Spanish again I asked if they can speak English. I inform her about the previous trips to… the ER and that my son was still in pain and she proceed to tell me they don't do pain management (my son's neck and shoulder blade where hurting) she told me she could refer my to an orthopedic. That should have been my first sign that she was not paying attention to my son's medical need. She said there in nothing I can do for him he need to make more appointments to cover all his issues. She referred me to three other doctors. When she checked my son's ears she couldn't even reach him she said there was nothing wrong no infection. Check his chest again nothing wrong sounds clear. I was in the middle of a question when she walked away and told her assistant to give me the referrals. Fast forward to Thursday my son is getting worse he had liquid coming out of his ears,phlem, coughing, had to start using his inhaler every two hours. Comes Friday he can't breathe took him to the ER he had an ear infection and his lungs where full of fluid, fever. If she had only taken the time to check him properly and had given him more than 3 minutes for the check up the infections could have been treated and he wouldn't had to end up at the ER. Her bio says that she does Diabetes management which is a lie because she referred me to endocrinologist

Dr. Murra is one of the best doctors i've been to. She was very polite and kind. Unlike most doctors I go to, Dr.Murra took her time with me and did not rush. Definatly going back to this doctor.

I can't tell you how awful of an experience it was going to this doctor today. Let's ask ourselves a question shall we? Why do we go to the doctor? For help because we don't feel well, right? Well Dr. Murra didn't even ask what the problem was, she just started on what she couldn't do for us. By the time I left, I was crying because I got so upset. The office manager got involved and of course sided with the doctor not even saying that she understood my position. I don't have time to write the whole story of what happened but this is a warning to NOT go to this doctor EVER.
