I have been suffering various and chronic issues for 19 years. I have sought help from over a dozen providers in different disciplines through the years. I continued to tell them that I felt the root cause was related to less than optimal results of a foot surgery even though my main pains were in my back and my hip. They either didn't believe me or had no idea how to go about helping me with the root cause. This pain had become life altering by the time I found Dr. Faison. I originally went there hoping he could help me with the debilitating back pain. Initially I did not even mention to him about my foot and my theory about it being the source of my difficulites. Upon an initial evaluation, he said, "I can help you with your back, but unless we do something about your foot it is not going to make that much difference." I couldn't believe it! He could just see and know what was really happening in my body and its source. At that moment and for the first time in my life (this… is no overstatement) I had hope. Hope of healing. Dr. Faison is very skilled and intuitive when it comes to knowing the body, how it functions, how it can stay stuck in disfunction and why, and multiple ways this disfunction can be changed over time. He is also a very compassionate person. He knows that true healing only happens in partnership, not only with oneself but also a care team of other providers who can see and support other pieces of the puzzle. He not only treats me with chriopractic modalities, but he also takes the time to educate me about what I can do in my life to continue the healing process. He knows these things not only from his training & education but also from his own direct experience as he is a firm believer in first trying out new approaches, ideas, and products within his own life to know them not just in theory but from his own proven experience before he recommends them to his patients.
