Dr. Lowry Jones JR., MD

I had a rotator cuff repair, I couldn't of had a better DR. Dr Jones was attentive, spent time listening to me and answering my questions. His bedside manner is great. He's one of the best.

You cannot beat Dr. Jones!!! He goes above and beyond to help his patients. He is kind, considerate, and just has the best bedside manner. He is also easy on the eyes!! If you can use Dr. Jones, you should look no further.

Dr. Jones operated on my shoulder in June 2024 at the KCOA facility in Leawood. The entire staff from check-in to surgery prep to OR to post op were all professional, attentive and friendly. I highly recommend KCOA and Dr. Jones.

Dr. Jones did a rotator cuff on my right shoulder. He did a bang up job. I would highly recommend him. Dr. Jones will joke with you, but he knows his business. Everyone from the person taking your appointments to all the nurses where very nice and personable. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

I'm currently seeing Doc Jones for some shoulder pain. He takes his time and explains everything he is doing or might do in the future. I feel like I'm in good hands and at ease with Dr. Jones. All the staff are pleasant and courteous. I've never waited more than 10 minutes to get in to my appointment. I would highly recommend Dr. Jones.

I am very cautious when picking a doctor of any kind, especially if he’s going to cut on me. He was recommended to me by another orthopedic surgeon and Dr Jones performed surgery on him so I felt in good hands. I also knew he had good ratings so that made me happy. He did arthroscopic surgery on my knee. He explained everything to me beforehand and afterwards showed me the pictures and explained what they meant. He is very knowledgeable and the friendliest doctor ever! I wouldn’t hesitate to go back to him. As a matter of fact he better not retire! I might need him again! He’s a wonderful doctor in every way and a great person.

My husband and I have seen Dr. Jones for 20+ years. You cannot ask for a better doctor. He is excellent in every aspect of his orthopedic practice. Not only does he take excellent care of your orthopedic needs and answers every question you have…..he truly makes you feel like family! This is definitely not a recent photo of Dr. Lowry Jones. He is handsome aged I would not go to any other orthopedic doctor any where. This doctor has taken care of me for 25-30 years. Starting with a competitive rotor cuff shoulder work jury. I've been healthy all this time but Arthur-itis and age aren't being my friend. Past two years he has done orthoscopic surgery on both knees with good outcomes. He knows what he is doing. Tells me the truth! I trust him. He is not only an amazing orthopedic doctor and surgeon but a good human being.
