Dr. Lu Yao, MD

I had a wary first impression of Dr. Yao. Her English, while not fluent, however, was more than adequate. What impresses most about her is her fund of knowledge and concern for providing the appropriate care. In hindsight,prior to seeing Dr. Yao several of my conditions were mismanaged, she astutely rectified these issues. Unlike a surprisingly many other physicians, Dr Yao seems to keep up to date on her medical knowledge. Although she may not always convey the best bedside manners, you can be sure you are getting the best treatment by a very competent clinician

Based on my experience, Dr. Yao's English is only ok, she does not communicate well and she seems distracted. She spends very little time with you. That said, she does seem intelligent and caring. But the negative characteristics mentioned above are disconcerting.

This doctor is incredible. She speaks English well. She changed a medication I had been using for asthma for several years and the improvement was noticeable within 24 hours. You can't understand how much I appreciate that change. She is extremely well trained and very knowledgable. I am so glad she was recommend to me by another dr.

DR. Lu Yao MD is the best Doctor I have never seen. She takes the time with you and explains everything in detail. Always in a good mood and willing to help.

Dr. Lu Yao is the first doctor that has an actual personality along with prescribing me medications that actually work.....the first doctor that I don't regret going to see.

Dr Yao is an excelent clinician. Allows patient to express concerns and she is very knowledgeable.

I will not recommend this doctor to my friends.

I saw Dr. Lu Yao back in spring of this year. I only saw the report from her yesterday and it was full of grammatical errors. Not only did she refer to me as a 'male' patient, it was glaring obvious she made up a lot of the stuff she put on there since she only spent at the most 7 minutes with me in my first physical with her.
