She and her staff are professional while being kind and empathetic. I have found Dr. Aquino's care to be thorough and up to date. Part of her excellence is knowing her own limitations. When something comes up that needs specialized diagnosis and treatment she makes a referral and follows up. I have total confidence in her care and the care of the specialists that she recommends. She will never "drop the ball"

My wife & I had our check up visit together as we have been patients for at least 5 years. My wife has been suffering skin problems and not getting relief from dermatologist. She spent an hour checking her skin problems and laying out a plan to solve it. This included prescriptions and referral to another dermatologist. Dr Aquino is among if not the best Doctor I have ever had. I owe my life to her

She is hard to get into for new patients, but once you are in she is a jewel. Spends more time with you than any doctor I have every visitied. She is thorough. Sheis very bright and is very highly thought of by the other doctors in the Hilton Head medical community.

Dr Aquino talks more than she listens. As a result, she makes false assumptions because she has not listened to the patient. I would not trust her assessment. She spent the entire office visit clued to her computer. She barely looked up at me. Very impersonal.

Dr. Aquino is an excellent physician with a very poor clerical staff. She needs a more hands on approach to running her office. The front office staff either will make or break the patient's opinion of the physician. Hilton Head and Bluffton have plenty of uncaring, egotistical and disconnected physicians she doesn't need to join the pack.

I have seen Dr. Aquino probably less than 10 times, and I have never felt so uncomfortable with a doctor like I have with her. She made me undress in front of her, she took a personal cell phone call during my appointment (non-emergency), tells me about other patients visits/issues.
