Dr. Lubna Taj

Our visit today with Dr. Taj, at Franklin Dental Care and Dentures, was the most bizarre medical experience I've ever had! It, put simply, did not feel like a legitimate dentist office. First of all, I called for a routine cleaning and there was availability immediately, or the next day, no wait whatsoever. When we got there, we were the only patients. The staff at the front desk are also the dental hygentists. There was an obvious tension between the hygentists and the doctor. The hygentists were adequate. I was surprised by the dentist's advice: my daugther's wisdom teeth are growing in sideways. They are crowding in the front. They cause some pain, when eating. She recommended waiting a couple of years before having them extracted, to "see if they would straigten out." When the dentists took a phone call on her cell phone and stepped out of the room, (in the middle of the cleaning) I voiced my disbelief. The hygentist said that I could make an appointment with the surgeon the… next day to discuss extraction and Invisaline. She said he could do surgery tomorrow!!! Again, I was shocked. The dentist only took 10 minutes to clean her teeth and didn't give her a floride treatment because she didn't return from the personal phone call that she took. I'm still scratching my head. I won't be surprised if this office is investigated on the nightly news. I'd be interested in seeing if anyone else has had a similar experience.
