Dr Lubomir Sokol, MD, PhD

Dr. Lubomir Sokol is a hematology and oncology specialist who brings 45 years of medical expertise to cancer and blood disorder care. He earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, where he also completed his PhD. Dr. Sokol completed his residency training at University Medical Center and the University of South Florida College of Medicine, followed by specialized fellowship training in hematology and oncology. He maintains board certification in internal medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine and provides care in English.

Dr. Sokol practices at H Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute Hospital, with locations at both the Magnolia and McKinley campuses in Tampa, Florida. His clinical focus includes treating complex blood cancers such as non-Hodgkin lymphoma and cutaneous T-cell lymphoma. He also addresses skin changes that can occur during pregnancy.
