Dr Stocchi provided excellent care and recommendations for me today. I trust and appreciate his kind and caring manner and his obvious experience.

Dr. Stocchi saved my life. When I went to him, I was in such a dark place in my life. I met him after a previous surgeon had nicked my colon & intestine during a routine hernia operation that caused a fistula the size of a lemon outside my stomach. That surgeon told me there was little he could do and I may have to live the rest of my life that way. The bag I was wearing went from my nipple to my groin area, from one nipple to the other. I wasn't living life, I was walking through it. Dr. Stocchi is caring, his staff is caring, they truly feel like an extended part of my family. He was optimistic when I met him but realistic. He held my hand when he told me he thought he can fix my issue but there was a chance of death; he put my partner and loved ones at ease. I can't even put into words how much I love this man. The one time I tried to express my pure gratitude to him, he turned away and simply said "there's no need but I appreciate it." Thank you so much Dr.… Stocchi. You will always have a special place in my heart and my life.

I am from the Toledo,Ohio area I was given the run around for almost a year with no good results.Finally a local surgeon recommended for me to go to the Cleveland Clinic.Seen doctor Stocchi I was in bad shape he figured out my problem,did surgery and saved my life.I couldn’t say enough good things about him. I was diagnosed with signet ring cell carcinoma nearly eight years ago. The prognosis and 5 year survival rate for this type of cancer is very low. Dr. Stocchi performed my surgery and was able to remove the tumor and 90 lymph nodes in which 7 were malignant. I refer and recommend to anyone I know experiencing colon cancer to Dr. Stocchi. I was blessed to have Dr. Stocchi perform my surgery!

Dr. stock he took time to explain everything that was going to happen during my procedure as I've been fighting with the reticulitis for over five years finally I had an abscess and was with the drain for five weeks he told me then that we had to have the surgery he walked me through everything on how to feel the pain and what to expect he's always there when I need a question asked also his nurses are fantastic

After a rupture he insisted a temp colostomy was needed and after 6months I would be reconnected. After 14months he said "Come back in 2 wks we will set up your surgery" 2 wks later he said you can not be reconnected and you must have all your GI organs removed. There was NO reason for this. He never did a scope or a scan and would give no reason as to why he refused to do the surgery. Now Im stuck with an ill placed temporary colostomy, which has developed pyoderma and left scrambling to find another doctor to undo the damage he has done. DO NOT LET THIS MAN TOUCH YOU!!!

I will NEVER return to Dr. Stocchi. He was unable to diagnose a Thrombosed Hemorrhoid and Ulcerated Fissure. Very poor for a Rectal/Colon Surgeon. He never admitted me for further testing or asked a collegue's opinion. I wouldn't recomment Cleveland Clinic or their doctors if my life depended on it.

In 1993 I had a barnett internal pouch in Century City Hospital by , Dr don Schiller in 2010 it was removed. Ever since I had the pouch it was dysfunctional to no avail no one would listen the stool was being backed up in my small intestine due to a a collar that went into the pouch causing pain and toilet trips 20 plus times a day but it still is better then what I have now !! can you or a colleague help me ?
