Good Doctor

I have been with Dr. Chou for a while. Before the change in paper record to computerized, she was subpar, I supposed. She wasnâ??t the best pcp, but she wasnâ??t the worst where I felt I was subjugated to her condescending remarks whenever I told her of my symptoms. The Dr.Chou now is rather an unfriendly one who sees you as a walking ticket meal and regards you as someone undereducated on even your own illness. What irritates me more than her bedside manner is the wait time. Every time, no matter the time of day, no matter if youâ??re the first patient of the day or not, expect to wait at the least an hour to see her. And when she sees you, she spends more time clicking trying to figure out how to use the software than she does trying to diagnose what youâ??re there for. And worse, donâ??t expect to build a patient-doctor relationship no matter how long or how many family members see her for their medical concerns. She absolutely is the worst. She recommends you out to cronies doctors… of her and there are always pharmaceutical reps at the office chatting her up and buying her lunch. There is a site online where you can see what pharm reps spent on doctors they visit with their corporate drugs. Itâ??s absolutely despicable that there are those like her in the medical field. absolutely despicable.

Of all my doctors and specialists, Dr. Chou is the most thorough. Her staff members are always accommodating and very courteous. HIGHLY recommended!

This doctor is HORRIBLE. Being someone of a certain age and not sync up with technology, she spends more time trying to enter your symptoms onto the mandated computerized chart than she does looking at your face...literally. The wait time alone is disastrous. Be prepared to wait up to one hour and then some to see her. It doesnâ??t matter if youâ??re the first person of the day or during the slowest time of the day...be prepared to wait up to an hour.
