I didn’t actually see her. First appointment for my daughter was canceled by her office the day before saying she wasn’t going to be in the next day. Second appointment I waited 15 minutes in the waiting area after arriving a few minutes early to be told our appointment was scheduled only for 15 minutes by mistake (15 minutes?)she cant see us today. I told the receptionist they should reimburse me for the $75 cancellation fee patients are billed when they don’t give adequate notice. I’m taking this horrible experience as a blessing in disguise and finding someone professional. Read her reviews. Most are very bad. Believe them and don’t waste your time

Unapologetically late and this did not provide a full session, spoke condescendingly, rude, and traumatized my adolescent by telling her (mind you, my daughter has severe anxiety) that any meds WILL make her symptoms WORSE before possibly making them better. Don’t waste your time as we did. Absolutely horrible. Time to retire.

Complete lack of compassion. Parent shaming. Condescending. Tells me in front of my adolescent that any medication will worsen her symptoms of anxiety and OCD, this worsening my adolescent’s symptoms of anxiety and OCD. Left there alternating between anger and despair. Do yourself a favor: avoid her. She’s been doing her job too long and forgets that patients and parents are human with hearts seeking help, not shame and blame. Couldn’t wait to get out of there.

IT SEEMS LIKE DR. KATZ KNOWS WHAT GOES INSIDE MIND. SHE WAS ABLE TO PIN POINT MY DEEP DEPRESSION WITH BIPOLAR AND I AM FEELING AWESOME. THE MEDS THAT SHE HAS ME ON, MAKE ME FEEL REALLY GOOD. I CANNOT THANK DR. KATZ ENOUGH FOR THE TREMENDOUS HELP SHE HAS AND IS GIVING ME.

Runs very late

It is very hard to find a good child psychiatrist. We had two before Dr. Katz, and between the two I couldn't think of one thing good to say about either one. The second one put him on Stratera which made him violent. When I called to tell her what was going on she suggested I call the behavior specialist. When I asked could it be the meds., shed firmly said call your behavior specialist. Some of these psychiatrist add to the problem!!!
