Dr. Lucian Mihail Maidan, MD

I can honestly say that this Dr and his staff are all angels ?? in my eyes. I Had a ruptured brain aneurysm and they saved my live... I can't recall much of anything honestly but I know this past appointment reminded me of alot. I had a appointment on January 31st for a Cerebral Angiogram and even though this staff has done this process previously hundreds of times its very difficult to be asked to lay back get your private area shaved by a complet stranger infront of a room full of strangers I was very uncomfortable and embarrassed at first but they ended up making the room feel more at ease with music and friendship with each other so it was over really fast. The staff was in such a amazing place with energy that it made it so much more easy to relax. Dr. LUCIAN wanted me to let him know if I had any discomfort right away and I couldn't tell that he was checking my problems out very thoroughly because it was repeated several times the same things so I appreciate him and his team. If… you were one of the team members who helped me on that morning and you happen to ever read this I just wanted to let you know I'm alive because of a Family like you guys....you are all my guardian angel ?? doctors.... I can only pray when I have my surgery I will be able to have the same Dr. And team with me again ?? ??. If Social Security doesn't deny me again maybe tea or coffee for everyone one day...

Dr. Maidan performed surgery on my husband with a severe aneurysm. He was clear, concise, detailed the procedure, the risks, the goals, looked me straight in the eye and answered my questions. He instilled trust in a very difficult time. After the successful surgery he spoke to our family about the surgery, and spoke to my children about hereditary risks and details. He was kind, thorough, performed successful surgery with a great many complications. Our follow up visit was scheduled easily and professionally.

Dr. Maidan saved my mom’s life last year. He was able to coil her aneurysm that had burst and she has recovered with zero deficits. So lucky that he is her doctor!

Dr. Maidan is very competent and very personable. However he has the worst assistants we have experienced in the medical field (Shannon, Anna and Melissa). Totally useless individuals tarnishing the reputation of an otherwise great doctor.

He saved my life - He is too overwhelmed w/his work. He only spoke to me about 10 min in the yr after my surgery. He's polite; but overcome w/too many patients. Help needed for those in my shoes.

I would choose to have Dr.Maidan to do my surgery and again and again. HE LITERALLY SAVED MY LIFE WITH NO RESIDUALS. I had a major stroke in Dec of 2012 I was taken first to my local hospital wheree they verified I had a stroke, stil lwas having one. The technology is so amazing now..they had me talking to a roboti Doctor form Mercy San Juan Hospital in Sacramento and was asking me all of the pertinent questions you should to someone who is having a stroke. He verified that I was and told the ER team to have me transported asap to sacramento. As soon as I arrived I was told that I would be going into surgery immediately. Not much time to explain the whole procedure but I wasn't even worried, that's how comfortable they make you feel. I may have met Dr. Maidan then but I was prety scared now. I did meet him though and he was the most kindest and friendly Dr. I had ever met. He was so caring and explained most everything to me, The procedure went wondefully well, as a matter of fact… they were quite surprised that I was doing everyhting. I was moivng my stroke side (left) and was having no problems. This was immediately after surgery! I would reccommend him to anyone who needed a neurologist! As I said he saved my life, Thank you Dr Maidan!

It was a rare stroke of luck that when my husband suffered a serious stroke, Dr. Maidan was on call. I believe he was a life-saver that night, and his ongoing excellence as a neurologist and human being have made him a blessing in our lives. He takes time; he listens.
