Dr. Lucio Dinunno, MD

Dr. Di Nunno listened to my husband's concerns about the prostate cancer treatment given to him from his current oncologist, but Dr. Di Nunno dismissed doing any kind of treatment other than what is protocol for him. This was at Cancer Treatment Centers of America--a facility where you're told you have options about treatment. Waste of our time.

my friend had a mass in his neck and thought the guy was scatterbrained and didn't know what he was doing but thought the techs were on the ball and knew more than him. had a problem with english, told him he couldn't work during treatment, no, no , you cannot work (which would take 3 mos)he was frantic at that, his business would fail and he might as well be dead. tech came in said no, you can work, just not 'days of' treatment. tech went out , dr dinunno came back saying 'oh yes, you can work' like he'd gone out and googled it. After neck mass removed, at another visit dinunno comes in with xrays saying you have a mass on your neck - what another mass- you'll have to have surgery- he says wait i just had surgery- nurse with him looks over xrays w/ doc, oh yes yes, they took out mass the mass is gone. add to that a medication mixupthat made him sicker instead alleviating nausea. friend skpped last radiation treatment as had lost tons of weight and any confidence in this doc. Maybe… just a bad day/days for doc? Or staff carries doc.

An amazing Oncologist with compassion for his patients.

Dr. Dinunno is a very smart wonderful and kind man. Anyone who needs a doctor with his expertise should see him. He listens, understands what you are going through, and is very compassionate.
