Dr. Lucy Bruijn, MD

I love Lucy Brujin, but her nurse and most of the staff are VERY unprofessional. I definitely recommend her as a doctor but she needs to start over with a whole new staffing crew beginning with Peggy and Andrea. I have been getting the run around for 2 weeks for medical documentation. I came in the office 7/2/2024 and hear the staff complaining about me coming up there. Saying they were ready to go, acting as if they were finishing my paperwork only to be told to come back in the morning. Then as Im walking out Andrea tells me to call before I come. I called and still NO PAPERWORK. Here it is the next week and my paperwork is due today and still NO PAPERWORK. 7/9/2024

Dr. Bruijn does not value your time. My first visit I waited in the back office for over an hour. Today I waited 30 minute and I leave. I did not see the doctor. Today was a waste of my time.

Dr. Bruijn was very kind and knowledgeable in my visit with her. She seems to truly care about her patients and their medical problems.

Dr. Bruijn listens to me. Many doctors have a preconceived idea of one solution fits all patients , She tries to find a solution for the exact ailment.

My experience with Dr Lucy Bruijn was very unpleasant. On the two occasions that I visited the office she did not actively listen to my concerns regarding my health. She was very stagnant and oblivious to the fact that I am the patient, and I know what works for me. I was overwhelmed by her unprofessional approach and rude demeanor. Due to these uneasy experiences, I will no longer be a patient for this doctor.

I am floored at the lack of care or comon concern that Dr Bucci exhibits.She is utterly robotic,ineffectual,and less informative than a magazine ad.I have went to this doctor several times and it was with little to no result each visit.I have a bite/rash situation that is very uncomfortable,and she cannot make a diagnosis,nor prescribe anything for help.Dr.Bucci also told me she would refer me to an endocrinologist many months ago and when I asked about the appointment and when I would get one,she looked at me and said did you not get the letter?I responded no,and asked if she could get the apponitment as I am having difficulty with my thyroid health.Again,she was completely robotic and responded well they should have contacted you by now.I asked her when can I expect that to come about?She never gave me an answer,but instead told me she was leaving her job here at the clinic and moving back to the mainland.I asked why?She said that there is and I quote"Too much spiritual warfare on… Hawaii Island"unquote.All I know is she has been completely rude and ineffective uttelry at each visit I've had with Dr.Bucci.I would NEVER reccomend this doctor to anyone.

My experience with Dr. Lucy Bucci was very good. She is so kind, so smart, and very professional in the way she treated her patients, checking their cases, and in giving her patients her recommendation. I am lucky to have her as my general doctor.

I made an appt with Dr. Bucci to become a patient at this practice. I understand they will be training new doctors. I figured I could receive cutting edge treatment for blood pressure and cholesterol (I had a stroke a few years back, but thankfully with no lasting effects) in a friendly environment. Boy was I wrong.Dr. Bucci was rude and condescending. She was not interested in hearing my concerns - she had her own agenda. When I asked questions she insinuated that my questions were stupid. She never examined me, just lectured at me. The nurses and assistants seemed afraid of her - she criticized one in front of me, I was embarassed for the poor girl. I learned that the only other teaching doctor, Dr. Nishyama, quit after a few months because Dr. Bucci is so poisonous. Warning to all - see this doctor at your own risk. I will not be going back.

This doctor call lucy bucci has very poor performance. She has an attitude that don't even fit being a doctor. She's judgemental and very unprofessional when she snaps at her employees in front of patients it's not called for, very controlling she fires other doctors because he don't meet her expectations because he had a settelite phone to be reach in case of emergency he lives in this rural island there is certain things can be acceptable and certain not. She's a person like to have her way oh no way it is so sad that this doctor feels and act the way she do, she also refuse patients that already a patient since they opened for business to attend this center when there is lack of doctors here in the big island bucchi have had many complsints and i don't know why dr.boyd keep holding on to a so called supposingly dr.degree without personality profession. she should be replaced and sent to the army ,marines, anywhere in the military that's the kind of person she is.her employees also… complain about her so msomething has to be wrong this picture dr. degree
