Zero Bedside Manner, Zero Transparency — Avoid Dr. Lucy Xi Lu-Weinlander, M.D. I am sharing my experience so other women in DFW can protect themselves from the dismissive and cavalier treatment I received from Dr. Lucy Xi Lu-Weinlander, M.D. (also practicing as Dr. Lucy Lu) at Baylor Scott & White Women's Imaging Center - PGA Parkway in Frisco, TX. Following a screening mammogram at the PGA Parkway location, Dr. Lucy Xi Lu-Weinlander flagged a focal asymmetry as "increased in size" and recommended diagnostic imaging. When I requested basic quantitative clarity—asking for the exact millimeter comparison between my prior images and my 2026 scan—Dr. Lu-Weinlander became impatient, condescending, and dismissive on the phone. Rather than answering basic medical questions or addressing my concerns with empathy, she added a generic addendum to my chart, refused to document specific measurement data, and completely ignored my 11-year documented history proving this exact area has been… benign. It takes a special kind of arrogance to treat breast health with such a cavalier attitude. When a diagnostic radiologist fails to communicate and acts with open irritation toward a patient asking reasonable questions, clinical trust is completely destroyed. While the front-desk staff and mammography technologists at BSW PGA Parkway were professional, Dr. Lucy Xi Lu-Weinlander’s behavior is unacceptable for a breast imaging specialist. I have transferred my care entirely out of this facility and strongly advise women to seek a radiologist who treats their patients—and their health—with basic human respect.
