Dr. Luis Alberto Arias Urdaneta, MD

I’ve had RA from a very young age about 6 years ago I decided to go see Dr Arias and I’m glad I did ... I couldn’t walk/move or even do regular things like brushing my hair, bathing,eating or getting dress every bone in my body hurt after just a couple of day after visiting the office I felt much better now I could say my RA is 100% under control his assistant is a beautiful person ... if I call with questions she will answer them if I need anything faxed or email to me I’ll have it with in seconds I always get the first appointment in the morning and I can’t complain I’m in and out and at work on time staff is super friendly I will totally recommend him to everyone

Dr Arias is good for you if you are familiar with your disorder and just need follow ups if your condition is under control. He has good bedside manners and the staff is polite and no wait time. My experience was very disappointing. I went to him to get a second opinion on my diagnosis which is RA. Its been very aggressive and difficult to control. I felt comfortable with him and decided to stay with him although he was in a higher tier in my insurance and my out of pocket was 120.00. As my condition was getting under control it started to get out of control again and i had a lot of questions being this was new to me i had never been ill a day in my life. I would call his office and he does not get back to you in a timely fashion and when you see him i was feeling rushed and not getting the support i needed. I think he is very knowledgeable but has reached a point where its a bother for him to take time with the patient and make them feel his behind you when you need him, I only say… this because im with a new Dr now and see the difference on patient care and quality of care. I don't feel like a number and have a better understanding of my illness and have gotten help with medicine that the ins give you a hard time to cover. If your condition is under control and don't need but regular checkups and an occasional visit for refills this is the place for you. If your new to your condition do yourself a favor and really look at 2 or 3 different doctors so that you can make a good decision..This doctor is not for you. Good luck

Excellent doctor

Both my husband and I used and use Dr. Arias Urdaneta. He is a skilled doctor with a terrific bedside manner. He listens carefully to his patients and explains all possibilities and doesn't hesitate to help find the solution to the medical issue. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
