Dr. Luis Alberto Cardentey, MD

I am very lucky to have Dr. Cardentey as my PCP. He is extremely knowledgeable, never in a rush, and great manners. He listens what I'm there for and goes through my medications and always get a follow up appointment and at times get lab orders. Dr. Cardentey is absolutely what anyone would want in a Doctor. I would highly recommend Dr. Cardentey to anyone you won't be disappointed.

Good visit to dr. Cardentey. I find him very knowledgeable, in this case I asked about vaccines for Kenya visit and preparation for climbing Kilimanjaro. Dr. Cardentey is patient focused, tries to help you reach your goals, will help you reach that. Very efficient as well, a pleasure.

I would give this bag of skin ZERO stars if I could. He rubbed me the wrong way on the 1st visit, very condescending. I had my GP of 25 years & my Pain Management Dr of 10 years from MI send my records I do not believe he even looked at them. A week later I was in dire pain and I waited 2 hours to see him. In that time I saw 1 patient walk out, come back & she was visibly crying because he was rude to her and, as I heard her tell the nurse, ‘I’m a nurse at an ER, I am seeing Covid like crazy and he was mean, he was rude & I did not need my week to start off this way. It’s not cool at all. He’s a mean person, and I want you to tell him that I didn’t need it.’ I asked who it was & she said 'Cardentey' to which I said, 'Great. I got a bag of dicks in my trunk he can suck if he's that way with me.' Not sure who passed it on but I was escorted out because my statement was a 'threat.' Treat your patients like humans & write yourself a prescription for a sense of humor. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I found Dr. Cardentey to be exceptional. His knowledge is spread across many fields. He is through and perceptive. I’ve recommended him to three friends who are seeking a new primary physician. Also his team is amazing. Well coordinated and professional.

Gave me upfront and honest opinion and really seems to care

And when you do ask questions, he is very brief, and runs out of the room. Complained I made him work too hard when i asked for a referral (which he ignored my request and referd me to dr w/poor ratungs instead.) asked for a Rx easier to swallow and a renewal of Rx. He also charged my ins $400 for a yearly visit that was exactly same as my f/u visits. Would NOT recommend!

I like Dr Cardentey very much. He's kind, caring, (very cute) and spent plenty of time with me. The only problem is that he's always extremely busy. It seems to take a very long time to get an appointment and the office wait times are always really long.
