Dr. Luis Cristina Casas, MD

We love Dr. Casas. He has been my daughters pediatric endocrinologist for almost 5yrs. He is amazing with parents and adults. He will spend the night in the hospital with children if medically needed. He is ALWAYS just a phone call away when you need him. No words can express how wonderful this Dr. Is. He is more of a friend than a doctor. To him you are more than a number and you are more than a patient. He CARES and remembers what school your child attends, your name, your child's name and even grandparents or other family members he has been arounds names. Oh and just wait till your child spots him out in a public restaurant with his family and goes and climbs in his lab and gives him a hug.....and he nor his wife or kids mind at all. You couldn't find or ask for a better Dr. And I will always recommend him to everyone that asks.

Good care and wisdom - excellent knowledge of subject and care for kids

He looks at TSH and that's about it. Maybe good for diabetes but I would not recommend him at all for a thyroid condition - especially one that is a little complicated. He doesn't order many labs, puts you on a dose and expects you to stick with it - no matter what.
