Dr. Luis Alejandro Cousin, MD

I was treated as if I was a hypochondriac every time I was there to see him. Dr. Cousin seemed to blow off my symptoms and never referred me to see a specialist even though I requested it by telling him that I think something is wrong. Well I left him and saw a new doctor who referred me to see a Rheumatologist. Turns out I tested positive for an autoimmune disorder for which I am now being treated and feel much better. When a patient tells you there is something wrong, you need to listen to us, we know our bodies. I am glad I left Dr. Cousin and went with someone else.

Wait times over an hour. When I complained to staff he dropped me as a patient.

Long waits and last straw was when I scheduled an 8:00 am appt on my vacation day - after 30 min I was placed in waiting room. At 9:15 I was told that the doctor was on his way and I would be the first patient he would see. When he arrived my blood pressure was sky high and he made no mention of his late arrival .

Going from a HMO to PPO my son’s doctor who was very busy recommended Dr. Cousins. If you enjoy long waits, short consolations and rude staff go see this doctor. Dr. Cousins referred me to outside services. Because his staff didn't fill out the required paper work the insurance company refused to pay. 6 months of arguing with the insurance company I took the paper work in on my next visit. After my visit I showed his assistant the paper work, her reply “not our problem” and not a word more.

He is a great doctor.

Dr. Cousin has been our family physician for over 20 years. Took care of my parents and my kids. Attentive, discusses issues with you, doesn't act like a medical deity. Updated technology gives you written results of your visit.

Dr cousin is actually a great Dr however the wait time to see him is not worth it. His office staff should give the option of rescheduling at check in time when they know he is running 2 hours behind. We waited 30 minutes in waiting room and over an hour in the exam room. We left before the dr could see us. The staff is courteous but slow. The hold time on the phone to schedule appointments is long too. Needless to say we will be looking for a new Dr

Dr Cousin is an excellent thorough doctor who takes time with his patients. It is worth waiting a little extra time to know that he will not rush you through. His staff are courteous and very efficient, and having an on site lab has been really nice

Dr. Luis A Cousin is a wonderful man and great doctor. I have seen him for back pain and valley fever and he put my needs first. I did enjoy my visit with this doctor.

Plan to wait 45 minutes to an hour after your appointment time before you actually see Dr. Cousin.
