Terrible Doctor. Rude and doesn’t listen. I don’t know what crawled up His Very arrogant too. They got my co pay and I am sure he will bill Medicare.

Dismissive, awful bedside manner, condescending, does not listen. My primary care dr. stated that he does not speak badly of people, but after discussing my situation with Del Rosario, he will refer me to a different Rheumatologist.

I used to love Dr Luis Del Rosario and was a patient with him years ago before I moved out of state. I recently have moved back and have been trying to get my medication I have been prescribed for years filled. He wrote me the prescription but it needed to be sent to my insurance company’s home delivery instead. I called them to make that change and say they will not do until I do blood work, even though I have made clear I cannot afford bloodwork right now. The staff have been rude and disrespectful and when I try to plead with them to talk to the doctor about it they hang up the phone. I just tried calling 9x and they hung up on me each and every time without saying anything after my first call that ended with me in tears begging to just talk to the doctor for a different route that is more affordable. I was told “they didn’t need to listen to my bullsh*t” before they hung up. I have never experienced an office with such little regard for someone’s financial Vs. health situation.

1st let me start by I needed a new rheumatologist because after 19 yrs & many states away mine was closing practice bc had been invited to do research. I’ve been diagnosed by blood test & skin biopsies along with treatments for very serious health issues related to connective tissue diseases by drs from John Hopkins & other great medical facilities only to have this dr say in 1st 5 min of 1st appt blood test don’t mean anything & he doubted I had anything as he held copies of test, biopsies & copies of Dr’s notes. He looked at top page & said, not really asking, what is it you want from me? Answer: to help me continue to balance my health issues. He spent next 5 minutes telling me blood test don’t mean anything. They’re only about 36% accurate. He never looked at positive skin biopsies or other documentation in hand. I doubt you have any of these connective tissue illnesses. Wow, maybe drs at John Hopkins don’t know what they’re doing - are you kidding me. Then he spent next 5 min… telling me he wanted me to go have blood tests done, & since usual tests not most reliable, go here to have these other blood test done at this lab but your ins won’t pay for it. Gave a stat but it wasn’t even 50% reliable he stated, but more reliable than regular test. A dr who spends no time talking to me & really looking at my history, saying how little blood test mean, to follow up by writing to have blood test done that regular labs don’t do & ins won’t pay for. Not my 1st time at rodeo. I did not make a follow up appt bc everything in me said this dr is bad news.

I have been diagnosed with RA since 2006 by 3 different rheumatologist. But Dr Delrasario discounted all previous findings. He wants additional tests because he doesn’t like the Vectra test that says I have a moderate disease level. He ordered a sonogram to test my disease level. But, he admits it doesn’t do a good job of showing my arthritic cists. This makes no sense to me. His bedside manner is severely lacking too. I can’t trust this doctor.

I made my husband's appointment and specified that he has documented severe memory loss that all appointments are to go through me. He missed 1 appointment and i called to question why I'm not making his appointments and the staff rudely told me they have him the appointment when he was there. I re demanded i handle all appointments. He gets a call 3months after being a patient that he is discharged for missing 2 appointments. I explained that his appointments are supposed to go through me and it's now my 3rd request. The staff very rudely told me that he showed up the other day when he had no appointment insisting he did. I explained that's cause he has memory loss! And since they aren't following requests he is confused! The woman just got mean and told me he can't be seen any longer.

Dr. Del Rosario is an excellent Doctor!! I have seen a few RA doctors over the past 10yrs and in the few visits, he has done more for me than any other Dr. in this county. Dr. Del Rosario is blunt and to the point, takes no crap and I like him for that. His office staff is always friendly and willing to help where ever. I have had only a few min waiting time. Dr. Del Rosario spends time with me and did not pawn me off on PA after the first few visit, so I am willing to wait!!! The other reviews I have read must be people that get their feelings hurt easy and need to be babied!!

Arrogant, disrespectful, dosen’t Give patient time to explain situation, called me a liar, told me to come back when I figured out what I wanted him to do for me. He is a doctor??? Would not let him treat my dog!!!!

It seems like people love him or dislikes him. My experience is not good with him. He didn't seem like he even wanted to order any blood work to see what is causing all of the inflammation in my body. I am not finishing up with him and going to find someone new.
