Dr. Luis Norman Diaz, MD

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Diaz for probably 20 years. He has always been proactive and listens to us. He answers questions, orders appropriate tests and keeps up on the latest studies.

I have known and have been a patient of Dr Diaz for over 20 years. He cares about his patients. While some people think he may rush a bit, it’s simply that he has made his assessment before you are done speaking. However he will listen and he will research if you argue the point. While we often don’t agree, he is typically correct. He understands global travel and inoculations required. He is interested in longevity and healthy living.

Knowledgeable and caring.

Dr. Diaz has a problem with his attitude and he is unwilling to listen to his patients. He is rude and snotty.

I have been seeing Dr. Diaz for over 5 years and I think he is wonderful. He has always spent time with me at my appointments and he never gives me that rushed feeling. I can go months without seeing him and he still remembers me and my health conditions. He does look at his computer during visits but he seems to use it to keep notes, check drug interactions, and review symptoms. I think the computer helps him to be more thorough. He also genuinely cares about his patients. I have seen him become shaken up over having to give a difficult diagnosis. Overall he is a great doctor.

I believe that Dr. Diaz is a decent Dr, but there were several things that made me not want to continue with him. His staff was polite, but he literally comes in and spends 3 minutes doing his patient assessments. As I'm trying to show or tell him my problems/symptoms, he's just clicking away on his computer. It just feels very impersonal & cold while he's in there. I've been there maybe 8 times? I feel he's a little too eager to prescribe antibiotics as well... and I'm not a huge fan of getting antibiotic shots in the tush almost every visit. The positive is it's very easy to get in a quick appointment, but overall I'm not pleased with the lack of care/attention he gives you.
