If you are looking for a knowledgeable, compassionate and intelligent doctor look no more.. my husband and I have been to numerous doctors in NewYork. None of them were willing to look outside the box. Dr. Fantos in just a few visits has alleviated much of my pain. I now am able to sleep 6-7. hours a night. I haven’t slept this well in years. My husband has been putting off having knee surgery . Dr Fantos has started him on a new regiment of medication . He is now pain free. And as a bonus Dr Fantos staff is both kind and efficient Wait time is no longer than 15 minutes. Don’t hesitate to make a appointment.

I give Dr Fandos 5 stars he is a very caring pain doctor and I just started going to him but I have had some relief for the first time in years. I got the radiofrequency and it take 2 to 4 weeks to work so I hope I feel as well as some of the people I have talked to. My ONE big complaint is is staff. The front desk is indifferent and they have a attitude. The girls in the back room are too busy chatting than to help you after you have had a procedure. And one of his helpers in the procedure room stood there and watched as I struggeled to get off the table. He should really pay more attention to the quality of his staff. They can make or break a doctor.

I have been a patient of Dr. Fandos for over 12 yrs. and have been extremely happy with all the attention and care that has been given to me over the years with my back and neck problems. In regards to staff, they also are very helpful and caring, from making appts within a short period of time or to same day emergency appts or just walking in for help because pain is to much and the girls squeezing me in. I deal with Dr. Fandos and Stephanie and Yadira, who all have been most helpful and sincerely caring for all these years. The only problem is the phones, however, the patient portal works great and if you left a message, they respond within a 24 hr. time period.

The people are very friendly and knowledgeable. I hardly ever wait last my appointment time to be seen.

Dr.Fandos, is a great doctor, very professional and friendly as well God bless him.

Dr Fandos and his assistant Stephanie Aguirre are fantastic.They are my guardian angels.From the first office visit to now they have helped me to handle my pain I do recommend them to other people.

I have been a patient of Dr Fandos for 5/6 years maybe more and the only complaint I ever have is about the wait at times at the office. I’ve never been mistreated or ignored like I have been reading. I have been told on many occasions that I require back surgery, but I would like to avoid that for as long as I can and Dr Fandos / Yadira who I see between injections have made that possible. I looked into the 1 inch incision procedure that’s always advertised on television and was approved and mentioned it to Dr Fandos When I went in for a follow up from an injection and I’ll never forget he put down his pen turned around took his glasses off and looked right at me and “said your not going do that” . I of course questioned him and he said if you are that ready to have surgery I will set you up with somebody local who I am comfortable with and who is closer to home. The amount of damage in my back is not something that would be Easily repaired with a one inch incision. I know the… decision was ultimately mine but the fact that I put my health in this man’s hands and let him stick needles in my back on a regular basis means I trust his opinion so I did not go through with it. Yes I have my bad days but but I go to my regular appointments And I get set up for my injections and if I stay on schedule I am able to function . So like I said my only complaint is sometimes the wait at the office but the end result is worth the wait.

I love Dr. Fandos but every other thing about being his patient is horrible. Here is a list: very difficult to get a human on the phone; even office manager does not return phone calls; cutbacks in administrative staff means nothing runs properly; waiting 3 weeks to get s requested letter for my job created HUGE problems for me at work!! He needs to know his care is the only positive about his practice.

The Doctor was very helpful and friendly. And also the nurses.
