Dr. Luis Fernandez is a surgeon specializing in surgery and trauma surgery with 43 years of experience in the field. He earned his medical degree from Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Honduras Facultad de Ciencias Medicas and completed his surgical training through residencies at Columbus Hospital in general surgery, University of Illinois Metropolitan Group Hospitals in general surgery, and MacNeal Memorial Hospital in a transitional year program. Dr. Fernandez holds board certification in surgery from the American Board of Surgery and speaks English.
