Had my 10 colonoscopy to schedule and have completed. From the initial contact to this office, his support team & schedulers were very polite, and had great follow up (had to get clearance from my cardiologist). Day of procedure, Dr Mejia explained the benefits of a colonoscopy compared to other methods, answered all questions and did not feel that the interaction was rushed. Great doctor to have, you will not be disappointed.

The worst kind of place you can imagine. They are trying their best to avoid personal contact and they are scheduling "teledoc / telehealth / telehell" appointments only. But... here is the problem: THEY DON'T CALL YOU BACK! You wait for the "appointment" and no one calls you. The manager for this place does not return your call, there is no supervisor, the nurse won't respond. My "TeleHell" was not even scheduled with a (real) doctor: it was an assistant (janitor?) who was going to call me, and no call was received. I lost three weeks waiting for this appointment and... NO CALL RECEIVED! This place is a nightmare. They should pay the patient the "missed appointment" fee because they are just plain incompetent to handle the appointments they schedule. If you miss your appointment, you will be charged for it. But when they schedule, you wait and no one calls... They won't pay you for your lost time!

This physician made, what could have been an uncomfortable experience ( an endoscopic procedure), one that I'm glad I can check off on my list of things you do when approaching 50. He accepted my appointment request on short notice, focused on the problem and not on lecturing me, and has a manner both professional and at the same time, sincere.

Dr. Mejia is a caring and thorough doctor. He takes the time to listen to the patients and their families with consideration and kindness...we need more physicians like him!
