My mother was treated by Dr. Rodriguez at the START Center, and I was her primary caregiver. Unfortunately, our experience was very negative. He often became defensive when I asked basic questions about her chemotherapy, side effects, or lab results. A chemo dose was lowered without clearly informing us, even after we had agreed to continue at the same strength, and treatment changes were not well explained. I did not feel he was transparent or collaborative, and we ultimately chose to transfer her care to another oncologist who communicated much more clearly. Based on our experience, I would not choose Dr. Rodriguez again.

Having cancer sucks. Dr. Rodriguez makes it bearable. He's very knowledge, very personable. Good sense of humor. He gives me as much control as I need and want, but makes sure I have all the facts I need to make decisions.

Great doctor. If you have to see an oncologist, he's the one to see. Professional, personable, great nurse too.

Dr Rodriquez is a very kind and caring doctor. He always answers all of my questions and the amount of time he spends with me is appropriate. Staff is also very kind.
