Dr. Luis Santos, MD

Dr. Santos is a good doctor, however his staff is horrible. They are very rude!

Dr. Santos saw us three times over a two month period. My child was in severe pain, vomiting's, etc. Dr. Santos prescribed one PPI medication, then another when that didn't work a few weeks later. He wouldn't listen to our concerns. All Dr. Santos had to do was order a simple test for gallbladder function. One simple order. My child ended up in the ER with a distended gallbladder and had emergency surgery the next morning. When I called to let him and his office know what happened to my child, the office manager hung up on me. Never heard from him or his office again. Very poor patient follow up. Dr. Santos does not order standard of care tests for his patients. Dr. Santos does not listen to his patient's or their parent's concerns. It is sad that he is one of the few pediatric gastro doctors in El Paso.

My son has been a patient of Dr. Santos since birth and has received an ok service until now. His new staff are very rude and ignorant to the needs of his patients. To schedule an appointment you need to go through the answering machine or call service about 5 times per day in order to get a call back and the call back is in about a week or so. The front office clerk is an imbecile, know it all, and has no manners at all. I will definitely change GI doctors thanks to his new staff members. I really miss the old staff.

HAVE BEEN TRYING TO REACH THE OFFICE FOR WEEKS, FINALLY CONTACTED THE ANSWERING SERVICE. THEY STATE HE ONLY HAS ONE PERSON ASSISTING HIM AND, AS A RESULT, ONLY ANSWER PHONE CALLS FROM 9 TO 1130. WE HAVE BEEN CALLING DURING THOSE HOURS ALSO AND CANNOT GET ANYTHING BUT ANSWERING MACHINE MESSAGE. VERY FRUSTRATING WHEN YOUR CHILD HAS HAD DIAGNOSTIC TESTING AND MULTIPLE TREATMENTS BUT IS STILL SICK AND HIS SPECIALIST WILL NOT RESPOND.

Este doctor parece que anda siempre todo cocaino y igual k la nurse cuando vayan fijense bien komo actuan los dos parece k andan bien locos y aparte a mi siempre k voy me dice lo mismo y a mi hijo no le veo ningun buen resultado

My daughter has been going with Dr. Santos for 6 years and has always received very good service even in the hospital Dr. Santos has a great bed side manner and very enthusiastic about what he does. He is truly a dedicated physician.
