Dr. Luisa Munoz Del Romeral, MD

Dr. Munoz was an amazing doctor for me. She spent a considerable amount of time going over my medical records on my first visit, listened to my concerns and administered appropriate care. She tweaked my meds as well.

Makes promises she never keeps. Cancels appointments then never calls back when you're told she will. Her behavior is totally narcissistic which at first appears as though she is confident but when all her promises fail you realize she has serious phychiatric problems. Huge disappointment

Truly the worst doctor I've ever seen. Both she and her staff are rude and dismissive. She's also got some concerning opinions regarding mental health. Honestly her license should be revoked.

Terrible experience. After yelling at her staff she came into the room, didn’t greet me, or apologize for an hour wait, and immediately started criticizing the meds I was on. She wouldn’t listen to a word I said or accept a prior doctor’s diagnosis, although she knew nothing about me. Shocking and unprofessional. Very disappointing and waste of time.

Dr. Munoz may not mince words (as some reviewers have said), but she provides great detail and accurate information. I understand how some people want to be coddled and reassured when it comes to heart problems, but I think it is better to hear the truth. I also like that she tries to cure people by suggesting life style changes and not just piling on more medication. Some people don't like to hear this kind of advice because it offends them. I say, let me know what I can do to improve my lipid Panel results (Blood tests) withOUT adding more meds. She told me that the goal is to get off of meds if possible with lifestyle changes. That is what I want to hear. Any doctor can prescribe pills.

This woman is extremely unprofessional and a very rude person. She is not a good person or doctor. She has low self esteem and gets angry if a patient wants to see another doctor. She walked out of the room and refused to see my brother because I told her the other doctor he was referred to was not available so they had him to see her for the appointment. She became angry and mean and said "I refuse to see him! I am not going to see a patient one time. Either he becomes my patient or I will not see him. She walked out of the room. I was in tears. My brother is developmentally challenged and I am his conservator. He has a heart condition. How can a person be so mean and nasty because of her own insecurities and desperation for patients. She came back into the room after having her fit/meltdown and totally ignored be and asked my brother a few questions that I am best to answer for him because of his disability. She left the room and refused to see him and had a nurse see… him for the next appointment....not a doctor but a nurse. I still plan to report her to the board or whomever because her behavior was inexcusable.

Before considering Dr. Munoz as your cardiologist, please read reviews of her patients on Yelp. She doesn't deserve a single star: as a doctor who is here to heal and comfort, she is not compassionate at all. And moreover, if you doubt about a medication or a treatment she suggest, you're out of her care! Please read Yelp

Dr. Munoz guided my wife and I through the most difficult times of our life. Her care was excellent and her spirit inspiring. Five stars are hardly enough for her.
