Dr. Luke Andrew Bruns, MD

I rarely write reviews for anything, but I know how difficult finding a good specialist can be. I have a somewhat complex medical history, which tends to make me hard to treat. Despite this, Dr. Bruns has repeatedly come up with new solutions and seems genuinely concerned when my symptoms are worsening. Further, he's efficient, communicative, and open-minded when discussing treatment plans. As a young person, I'm used to doctors dismissing some of what I say, but I've never felt this way at all with any of the staff. The nurses are great-- so caring and on top of things. I really can't say enough good about all of them. Compassionate medical care is so important and less common that it should be; I'm very grateful to have found it with Dr. Bruns and his team and highly recommend them.

I would never recommend Dr.Bruns, my chest pains and spiking blood pressure aren't cold symptoms.

We were not expecting a congential heart defect requiring surgery when we went for a consultation. Dr. Bruns was thourough in explaining what needed to be done to correct the defect. His staff was also helpfull in scheduling the appointment to meet with the surgeon. They understood our anxieties and moved quickly to help us get surgery scheduled. Post-op they were quick to see us with any problems we had. If you need a cardiologist, I would highly recommend seeing Dr. Bruns.

first of all no one takes their child to a cardiologist without some worry and anxiety before hand. We were able to make an appointment much sooner to see Dr. Bruns than some other names our primary doctor gave us. Once we were there, we got in to see him quickly. Dr Bruns was thorough in his exam and patient in his explanations. He was recommended to me by a friend of our family that has a daughter who is also his patient. I would gladly recommend him to friends or family should the need arise.
