Dr. Lum Nyindem, MD

I had an appointment with another doctor and it was cancelled so I switched to Dr. Nyindem for today and I am so glad I did! I am new to the area and new to her and the facility, I was concerned about the experience but not anymore! today Dr. Nyindem proved that there are good doctors out there! she is a hands-on and caring doctor, she listened to me, she paid attention to my symptoms and is going to take care of all the issues one by one, in order of priority. I love her attitude and she took her time with me, not the "15 mins" and off you go that most doctors do. I highly recommend her for any patient with high standards, like me.

Explains condition extremely well, very understandable terms. Ask if any questions or any concerns and if I agree with her methods of treatment. Very personable and genuinely interested in you as a person, not just another patient. Does not rush you out the door.

Highly qualified Dr. Extremely knowledgeable about best drug for my issues. Gives you the pros and cons in medications and allows you to be part of any decisions. Listens intently to your health concerns and proposes the best course of action. Explains all test results in laymen’s terms. Personable, great bedside manner. Very responsive and spends a lot of time with you.

UPDATE ON PREVIOUS REVIEW. DR LUM NYIDEMS OFFICE FINALLY CALLED BACK 25 HOURS LATER TO SAY THEY COULD DO A TELEMEDICINE APPT. THEY LEFT MESSGAE AT 12:19 PM, THEN CLOSED EARLY FOR THE DAY AT 1PM. "THIS WAS ON A FRIDAY".

Lum Nyindem is the worst doctor I have dealt with yet! My 88 year old mother called Lum’s office to try to get script for cold meds since she is diabetic, she can’t take over the counter meds. Makes her sugar go up. Lum said she would need a COVID test 1st. Then will call in cold meds if test is ok.(Understandable) so arrange for her to be taken next day for drive thru test, which they did not call till morning to say she had to be there at 1pm. On 3rd day test comes back negative. No call from Lums office all day so I called there office to ask about cold meds. All they would call in was cough syrup. I explained to Cindy she has a bad head cold. She said she would talk to Lum & call me back. 4th Day office of course does not call me, calls my mother & tells her she needs to come in,that doctor will need to see her for her (HEAD COLD). I called them & explained what has be going on for last 4 DAYS. If she needed to see the doctor why did Lum not say that on 1st Day! Mom could have… went there the day she had COVID TEST! I asked to have Lum call me about this, & of course, no call, nothing. So if this is how she treats her patients my mom will be changing doctors. Would not have giving her any “stars” but this would not let me. Now I see why there ratings are posted at 1 1/2 STARS!! No I would not recommend this doctor. Risking getting COVID to get cold meds.

Cared about me and listened to my concerns without rushing me out the door. I recommend her highly. Made me very comfortable.
