Dr. Lusine Ambartsumyan, MD

Our interaction with her couldn’t of been worse. She was completely unprofessional and unprepared for our procedure. Didn’t like that we questioned her about it and then canceled on us in the pre op room. If we would of let her proceed with her plan my daughter would of needed immediate surgery afterwards to correct what she intended to do.

Don’t see this doctor, will leave your child worse off.

She was awful from the moment our visit started. My son has a very rare condition for his age and we see a lot of specialists. I have never experienced such vile rotten behavior from a professional. She should NOT be a doctor, let alone one for sick children!

She completely botched my sons upper endoscopy. He has had chronic tummy pain along with food intolerances of all kinds and chronic diarrhea. She never tested his intestinal enzymes and should have absolutely tested him for a brush border. I hope they fire her. How senseless to put a 3 year old under for chronic diarrhea and abdominal distention and not test for that. Sheer incompetence.

Dr. A kept my son's referral on her desk for 2 months and after that when I CALLED to check the status myself the girl who answered the phone said they claim has been closed (without letting us know). I asked why, she responded that Dr. A found it" not appropriate" to treat my son. Ni further explanation was given. My requests for more information were denied.

Poor listener

My daughter is a preemie born at 25 weeks. She has dealt with chronic constipation since the day she was born. We have seen multiple GI doctors and they have all given us the same answer “Just use Miralax” 9 years later and the same struggle we still received the same answer UNTIL Dr A came in the picture! She changed our whole med regimen and really has listened to our concerns and needs for our daughter. In our first 45 minute visit with her she gave us more answers than the MULTIPLE GI drs we have seen over the course of 9 years. She treats us with such respect and doesn’t look at our child like “just another patient.” She took the time to listen to or struggle and give us different answers. She is the only person in 9 years that has helped my daughter be able to poop everyday... I don’t think we could ever be blessed with another doctor comparable to Dr A.

Dr Ambartsumyan is probably one of the best doctors I’ve ever experienced. My daughter had a procedure with her and she was so kind, informative, and was super accommodating and flexible with my schedule. She really cares about her patients and it shows.

Dr. Ambartsumyan is truly excellent. She was so patient and kind with my son. She really made us both feel comfortable.
