Dr. Luther St James

I had been going to Dr StJames for about two years and at first felt headway was being made in dealing with my chronic problems. Often the wait was long. Up to two hours. I did notice he spent more than the 5.6 minutes that other Drs took. But I then noticed problems with orders and referrals not written properly. Even the physical therapy Office called the Dr to get my order rewritten so I could get the therapy I needed only after 3 tries to never get a call back or paperwork. They said they had tried and I would have to handle it. When I went back to Dr StJames for follow up I pointed out mistakes that were on lab orders and P. T. And oh, I’m still waiting for a referral for that specialist. This big guy stood up and loomed over me, got in my face and said as how I was a waste of his time! I was frightened and intimidated and call that abuse. I say he wasted two years of my life and because of the missing parts of orders, tests, and referrals I had to start over with a new Dr. The… American Medical Association said they don’t discipline for rudeness. But in my book that is neglect!

I cannot say enough about this wonderful practice. The front office, the nursing staff, and Dr. St. James are all top notch. I am a nurse myself, and I have observed the efficiency and effectiveness of how this staff works together. Dr. St. James is the best PCP that I have ever had!

He had help me do much. Iam a 52 year old woman wphi had been suffering with severe knee pain. One day i call his office an told the nurse i will be in asap. He haisthem call me back an book me that am. He is caring and very kind doctor. I haven't orhis any problems with him or his excellent staff. He gets an A rating.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I saw Dr. Luther St. James for years and he was great to me. Roughly a 8 year Physican Patient relationship and he completely changed. He spoke extremely abusively to me and I am not the only one. I know several people who have had similar experiences as mine. He started screaming at me because I was trying to be proactive about my health since I was experiencing some severe fatigue and he wasn’t even ordering bloodwork. When I showed him my labs indicating all my thyroid levels were off (T3, T4, TSH) he blew up and said there wasn’t anything wrong with them. Then he proceeded to insult me and saying that crazy is also a diagnose. I have never been treated so badly by a “professional” in my life. I work in the healthcare field in a specialist office with 6 physicians for several years now and have never heard anyone being so mistreated. It disgusts me that he can call himself a compassionate physician. I will NEVER go back to him and tell everyone… looking for a PCP to avoid him.

Dr. L. St. James is a very compassionate and caring physician. He is very thorough in his assessment and provides superior care to his patients. He is very knowledgable of his profession and stays up to date with current medications and treatments, enabling him to provide state-of-the-art medical care for those he serves.

Dr. St. James is a wonderful, caring doctor. He always takes the time to explain things. I would highly recommend him.

In 78 years and many travel I am blessed to have Dr. Luther St. James for my primary doctor! So professional and charming and Never seems in a hurry with you. Is every case of referral to a specialist Dr. St. James has told me of the expected diagnosis and treatment. In ever he has been 100% correct. The office staff is excellent and efficient.
