He seriously did not know what he was talking about and when asked for suggestion on my next steps he shrugged his shoulders and told me, “I can’t help you”. With a smile on his face!!!!!!

Dr. Gorenstein I am very surprised to find any bad reviews for Dr. Gorenstein He came highly recommended to me by my pulmonologist. Based on that and his impressive credentials I went to see him. I found Dr. Gorentsein to be extremely professional, caring and informative. I Felt that I got the best possible treatment and very possibly owe my life to the Doctor Gorenstein! I had a been diagnosed with lung cancer in the left lobe of the lung Doctor Gorenstein took his time and explaining everything to me as well as the surgical procedure, which was a 3 and ½ hour operation. Dr. Gorenstein treated me as if I was his own family. He addressed all health-related concerns with me, as well as my lifestyle and provided me with recommendations for other services that he felt I needed. The aftercare and follow up with Dr. Gorenstein and staff have been top notch. All pathology tests, including the testing of nodes, have come back negative, and until now, I have not required… further treatment. I highly recommend Dr. Lyall Gorenstein. -Tommy D

My father died 18 days after lung surgery, he was told he was going to leave the hospital 5 days after having part of his lung removed. There were complications and we we never got answers as to what happened.

I had hiatal and esophaic surgery performed by Dr Gorenstein at Good Sam Hosptal. I was very happy with the surgery which was done laprascopically. Dr Gorenstein is a great surgeon and nice doctor. Y

He diagnosed my grandmother as uncurable and inoperable due to her thymoma tumor. He said that she was in stage 4 of her cancer and that there was no hope. We went to see another esteemed surgeon, Dr. Harvey Pass in NYC, who operated and my grandmother has no been cancer free for 6 months, thus far. I was devastated after we saw Dr. Gorenstein and little did I know he had no idea what he was talking about.

I was seventy seven years old and had the lower half of my left lung removed. Five days in the hospital no pain, was walking the next day. I would recommend Dr. Gorenstein to anyone who would ask about him.
