Dr. Lydia Villafuerte, MD

When I saw her I was having horrible stomach pain. I had to switch due to insurance. She told me she wasn?t giving me any pain meds when I never asked for any. I saw my obgyn who said I had post ablation syndrome and needed a hysterectomy. Problem solved after. Fast forward. I reached out with new chest pain on exertion. She told me I was too young and it was not cardiac. No testing or visit. I transferred doctors quickly and had a cardiac cath and 95% blockage and 2 stents. I wouldn?t recommend her if you have any medical issues at all

I called for an afternoon appointment because of my work schedule. I waited 3 weeks just to have this afternoon appointment. I get to my appointment and the person checking in days my appointment was at 11am. They did not try to work me in even though it was their mistake. I now have to wait another 4 weeks for an appointment that fits my work schedule. In addition, they stated I got a courtesy call. I checked my phone and there was a call, but no voicemail. I love Dr. Villafuerte, but the service I received was very disappointing.

Wonderful doctor! Wouldn't see anyone else!

Dr. Villafuerte is one of the best I have ever had. I was beside myself with an illness. The physicians I saw previously would not listening to anything I had to say and gave me no help. I'm so thankful that she is my doctor; she listened, asked questions and finally I was given the medications I needed to regain normalcy.

Dr. Villafuerte was wonderful! She was a breath of fresh air to me! She truly listened to my health issues and was willing to discuss different alternatives. She took time to get to know me as an individual and not just another patient to crowd her day. She was concerned about all aspects of my complicated healthcare picture. I do have a lot of healthcare issues but am proactive with my health and want to have the best outcomes to improve my health. Thank you Dr. Villafuerte.

This doctor is wonderful! She is very patient, doesnt make you feel rushed and listens to all of your concerns. I have been seeing her for 3-4 years and have recommended her to family. I have never felt unsafe in her care and am very happy to have found her!

The best doctor I've had in my 60 years!

When I read the negative reviews on Dr. Lydia, I was shocked. Not only do my family and I think she's great, but so do many of our friends who now go to her. I guess happy, healthy patients don't look for a place to vent on the internet. You can't find a better primary care physician that Dr. Villafuerte. She is an excellent listener, diagnostician, and has great connections to specialists when needed. Make an appointment and judge for yourself. This doc is excellent!

Comes across as a sweetheart and sounds like she knows 'what's up'! Once she makes a diagnosis, she sticks with it..even if you ARE NOT responding to the medications and ARE getting WORSE. Until finally a family member or patient can't take being sick any longer. Had to research my own illness and explain to her what was actually the diagnosis per what I had read .... it made sense to her...because it WAS right! (and per the article AND MY NEW DOCTOR..should have been her FIRST GUESS!) She listened..thank the Lord! And the new medication cured me. Then,she discussed another family members' illness with me ~ and our family did not even know that person was ill. (Nor did they want ANYONE to know!) At THAT point, I realized that IF I should become to ill to research my diagnosis, I would surely die before she got it right! And the town and my family would know I was dead before I did! **NOT one's best bet for a Doctor. Don't get me wrong, she is a nice lady. Just needs to ....I… dunno, go back to school!
