Dr. Lyle Spencer Saltzman, MD

Dr. Saltzman has been a member of Brevard Anesthesia Services, P.A. since 1986. He currently serves as Chairman of the Department of Anesthesiology at Holmes Regional Medical Center and Director of the Cardiac Anesthesia Program. Prior to joining our group, he served as Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. He obtained his undergraduate degree from the Brooklyn College of the City University of New York. He attended medical school, did his internship, completed his anesthesia residency and a fellowship in cardiothoracic anesthesia at UNC, Chapel Hill. Prior to going to UNC, he also did some medical training at University of Bologna, Bologna, Italy. He is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology. He is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the Florida Society of Anesthesiologists and the Society of Cardiovascular Anesthesia. Father of three grown children, Dr. Saltzman enjoys kayaking, reading and golf …for relaxation.
