Dr. Lyn D Ward, MD

Terrible bedside manner if you're overweight. He might treat you with dignity and respect if you aren't overweight. I left crying in physical and emotional pain and anger. I also left with a limp i didn't have when I arrived today. Literally crying and asking the checkout staff if his goal was to leave people in more pain after an office visit (no surgery) and no one showed any concern or compassion or asked or offered any assistance what so ever.

I’ve been to dr Ward twice now and I will stay with his practice very knowledgeable and just an all around good guy. He has helped my knee situation to where I able to carry on my day to day functions without the pain. Thx again DR Ward!

It was easy to get in to see the Dr Ward. I think he is a great doctor. My knee replacements has gone without any complications. I’m planning on him doing my right knee.

I would highly recommend Dr. Ward to anyone who needs an orthopedic surgeon. I would take my child or sister to him for help. He is a brilliant physician who has restored the quality of my life by his great skill and understanding of each complicated case. Sincerely, K.F.F.

Go to someone who cares

I went to Dr. Ward for three appointments and I was so fed up with his lack of patient care (would spend less than 2 minutes per appointment with me, did not fully explain my injury, acted although my and my grandmas questions were a waste of his time and didn't even answer them). I was about to leave the practice altogether until I had an appointment with Dr. Flowers who was AMAZING! Literally spent 30+ minutes with me re-explaining everything I didn't know. I almost wish I needed another appointment so I could go back and get more reassurance lol. The rest of the office staff is nice and helpful, but I only (and completely) recommend scheduling with Dr. Flowers!!

I am currently (but not for long) a patient of Dr. Wards. I fractured my fibula and tore the ligament in my foot. Over 3 appointments he has spent less than 10 TOTAL minutes with me. He refused to explain anything in detail so I'm basically pulling information from him the entire 3 minute conversation. He hasn't shown me any of my 3 xrays and acts like my questions are ridiculous. His patient care is lacking so much that it's affecting my recovery. All other staff is great though.

I have been to this office three times with knee complaints, and have never seen Dr Ward. His assistant took care of me, told me I was a candidate for surgery, gave me a shot in the knee each time, and offered some pt. Staff was very friendly and courteous. My question is, do you only see the Dr if you decide on surgery?
