Dr. Lynda Peel, Md

I had a very bad experience with Dr. Peele and Cascade Physicians over a four-year period. She spent most of the time looking at her laptop. She did not listen to me and missed diagnosing a very serious problem that required immediate surgery once it was discovered.

Had an issue with bladder incontinences and she referred me to get s bladder ultra sound -entirely treasonable but after I had it and it was normal there was NO follow up or contact for her office

totally focused on getting out of the room in 11 minutes or less; lack of empathy and poor communication

I am in the process of changing physicians and sadly agree with most of these reviews. A lot of referrals, cold manner, no bedside manner, a lot of errors in chart

always have to wait for at least an hour no regard for her patients and their time. needs to thoroughly look over her schedule management.

I was hoping to make Dr. Peel my new PCP since I recently moved to Portland. I've been on medication for pain management since a terrible car accident and was trying to transfer my treatment from my previous doctor to her office. She was incredibly unhelpful and refused to continue my medications, including sleep medications, because she "didn't believe in them." She then referred me to two or three other specialists and said we could potentially discuss continuing my treatment if I saw the specialists. I work long hours and don't have the luxury of scheduling and paying for specialists when I'm able to use medications and treatments that work but she refuses to allow. I've suffered from insomnia for years and she refused to continue the treatments, all legal and helpful, that my previous doctor had given me. If she refuses to write prescriptions or give treatment, then what exactly does she do? Don't recommend her as an MD, she acts more like a holistic doctor.

Cold, robotic, and generally doesn't feel like a happy or comforting personality. Little eye contact and computer oriented without discussion other that what needs to be done off checklist.I will not return to this doctor.

Referral MD sends more referrals than any other doctor at cascade physicians hasn't diagnosed a pt with anything more than a uti in years

Although this doctor has sterling qualifications as far as her medical schooling, she fails on the "bedside manner" score. She does not listen very well. She jumps to conclusions without having all of the information. I agree with the person who commented that she is not good with a person who has any sort of mental issues and does not seem to make the well-being of the patient her first concern. Her first priority seems to be her own comfort level, not the patient's best interest. She definitely has some of the "God" complex and thinks she has all the answers. No humility at all. And no compassion.

Dr. Peel is very personable and you get the feeling she cares about her job. She has helped me with many things. However, with things that wander into mental health she is not so good. She sometimes says things that seem demeaning or indicates that she does not believe me. I have the opinion that she does not have a good understanding of mental illness, even totally mild and manageable conditions. If you do not have any mental concerns, she will be great.
