Most amazing Dermatologist!

It took so long to get in to see her. Even though she would give me different prescriptions that were way too strong and did not work and only made my rash worse... This rash just happens to be on my face and arm and look like sores at times. Nobody wants to wait to see the physician again for 6 MONTHS especially when this issue hasn’t been resolved yet and is on their face. I looked like some kind of drug addict (of course I’m not). I also have a job where I have to look professional too. I could not even try to cover this stuff up with make up because it made my skin 50 times worse. In my opinion for the way that my skin looked I did not even want to wait 3 months but I could have done that before 6 months. That’s when I knew that I absolutely had to find another doctor. I needed someone who could be more available too. She is a nice lady though. I would definitely try her out if you have something small that needs to be dealt with possibly.

Unfortunately she doesn’t seem to really care that much anymore. Maybe like she doesn’t want to work anymore but still does because she still likes what she does but her head is not in it anymore like it once was. I went to her several times about two years ago and she could not figure out what was wrong with my rash or what it was. She prescribed me about 4 different medications and they were all way too strong for my skin and made it much worse both times that I went to her. I went to another dermatologist that knew exactly what I needed and what was wrong within 5 minutes of looking at the rash. Thisdermatologist was also younger too. I would have thought that Dr. Anderson would definitely know what it was with all of the years of experience that she has. I do not mean to make it sound like she is old because she isn’t old in my eyes. She’s older though and has been practicing for a very long time and I do know that she seems very well liked by a lot of her patients as well. Maybe… it was me. I am not sure. She seemed interested enough but did not take much time to look into what was going on. If I were a doctor I would want to figure out what was wrong by getting a biopsy or something. Wish that I could give her a better review. ??

She seems to really know skin diseases. But it takes an act of congress to get in to see her. I called for an appointment and even though I need to see her soon, the appointment can't be scheduled for 3 months from now. I want someone that doesn't take a quarter of a year to get an appointment. I have been a patient of hers for 5 years. Whoever answers the phone at her office has little compassion for your plight. I am looking for a new dermatologist.

6 week wait to see this doctor.

A lot of folks don't realize that Dermatologist are in heavy demand and they have to cut through the bull and get to the issue. I think Dr. Anderson is terrific. She does not leave you in limbo about your situation. She is guarded with her time to some extent as she is heavily booked. But I never got the sense, in 4 or 5 visits, that she would not take the time to be sure that my issues was resolved or my questions answered. And her work is fabulous!

I have been seeing Dr. Anderson for years. She has always spent an appropriate amount of time with me and I love her dry bedside manner. I feel like I'm in capable hands anytime I have a dermatology issue. I would say she's a wonderful doctor.

This doctor seems to think that people have enough money for 4 and 5 different copays for the same problem. I am fresh out of college and do not have the money or time to be seen that many times. She treated me like an idiot and basically said that what she did for me probably won't be effective. She also belittle my job as a social worker. Needless to say I will be finding another doctor.

Dr Anderson is a tremendous physician. She is very concerned about initial & follow-up treatment. I had a malignant melanoma, and she was wonderful in the treatment and subsequent monitoring.

Dr Anderson can be abrupt, but don't take it personally or let it diminish your opinion of her integrity as a physician. I saw great success with her treatment and I trust her completely!
