Dr. Lynn-Anne Kohlmeier, MD

I’ve received treatment from dr kohlmeier for 18 years. She brilliant as well as personable. She’s an incredible doc!

After a Reclast infusion, I experienced terrible side effects. She showed no care for my situation. Horrible doctor!

I saw this inept Endocrinologist as my first step on my journey to find answers to a serious medical decline in health. I was diagnosed with a pituitary tumor, and had lots of other health problems. I am a medical professional myself. This doctor was flighty, judgmental, and ordered repetitive labs that my wonderful insurance would not cover. AND they had to be done at her in house lab, because (I am sure) of a financial arrangement with them! Plus, I got NO answers. I took my results with me to Harborview in Seattle, and then to Swedish Pituitary Center, and after more investigation and follow up am finally being treated. As I look back on the lab results from back then, they were abnormal, but she did nothing! It was beyond my scope of practice, and perhaps subtle, but if a fantastic Endocrinologist in Seattle figured it out, what is wrong with Dr. Kohlmeier? Stay away!!

Went to Dr Kohlmeyer regarding Hyperthyroidism and Nodules, she focused on my slightly higher than normal cholesterol...and wouldn't deviate from my cholesterol, I never went back.

Saw her for years and experienced the same frustrations as other patients (constant interruptions during visits, random referrals to other specialists, etc. etc.) It seems that she is so afraid of being sued/and or she wants to make money that she will order multiple expensive tests and require patients to keep returning with for no logical reason. Staff is wonderful and will do their best to accommodate.

I started seeing Dr. Kohlmeier about 3 years ago. While I think she is very knowledgeable about Thyroid, she has several problems. Number one she is always late, around 45min to an hour. Secondly ,we are in the middle of treatment after having my thyroid removed with stage 1/2 cancer we are on year three of a 5 year plan. My husband lost his ins. Due to lack of work, I kept my appt. With her and paid cash, she was very distracted at my appt. Accepted 2 phone calls during my appt. Which she left the room, came back and basically stuffed me out of her office leaving me confused as to what I even was there for. 5 days later I received a letter from her explaining she will no longer need to see me for my endocrinology treatment. We are in year 3 of a 5 year plan. My suggestion is to steer far away from a doctor that has no morals or integrity. Here I am without ins. Willing to pay cash, and no doctor to finish my treatment for cancer. I feel very afraid, where can I go? To be left in the… middle of treament, I am shocked. And I will have ins. Coverage in about 3 weeks when my husband starts a new job. Beware!!! Stay clear. She just cares about money. Loved me coming in every 6 / 8 weeks when she could bill my ins. High rates.

Very disappointed with the care received from Dr. Kohlmeier. I went to her for a couple of years and in that time I have never had so many test and demands puts on me ever. I experienced her to be rude numerous times with me... during one of my appointments she had to stop the appointment to take a personal cell phone call... Really? I don't think all the test were about being thorough... I believed it was more about money .... as much as I expressed that I could not afford all these test nor did I have the time to take off of work for all these different things she wanted me to do.

I have been lucky to have great endocrinologists, and she is the best of the lot. She is amazingly thorough and very much listened to my concerns and was thoughtful and kind and interested in my case. I got my appt. right after lunch and waited not at all.

She was not prepared. My issue is life and death and wants to flip and coin and gamble with my life. She doesn't look at you as a whole. She knew nothing about my situation, I had to explain my sickness to her and she failed to do research. They don't call back when you need them to. TOTAL WASTE OF TIME! See Reviewer: 2 POST! I scheduled the appointment more than a month ago and my primary physician had mailed most of my lab results to her together with a referral letter which describes my case in great detail. But when Dr. Kohlmier came in, she had no clue what my problem was and asked me why was I there to see her?! She had all my files in her hand but obviously she did not even briefly look at it! I have done a great deal of research in the problem that I have and if I choose to do a surgery or a treatment, I want to discuss what is good and what is bad, and… what risks are there. But she just wants me to do what she wants to be done.Overall, I wouldnt recommend to anyone, at least not people with the same type of problem that I have. I would also tell my primary doctor not to recommend anybody to her. It is total waste of time. And I felt a lot worse than before I went to see her."If you have any other choice, try a different dr. She will not help you!

Dr Kohlmeir was seemed very interested in my disorder on initial visit but after 3 years she could never quite come up with a plan. It was very frustrating.
