Dr. Lynn Dickerson Morrow

Dr. Morrow was too entrenched with the pharmaceutical companies and the perks that brings by pushing drugs of all sorts. As my health worsened she never once considered an alternate course of therapy in spite of debilitating side effects from those horrendous medications. Her smile belies the fact that she was driven by a focus on "magic pills" that meant the patient worsened as her pocketbook grew fatter. I could have turned into a zombie under her care and it has taken a long time to recover from the damage done by her sorcery. She abandoned her patients in an instant in the end I suspect due to mounting resistance to her practice. She now spends her millions on the ski slopes of Utah and could care less about the damage she left behind. Seeing her cost me dearly and I had to be my own best advocate. Never again thank God.

This doctor saw me over a period of a year or two. She diagnosed me with numerous diagnoses including multiple personalities disorder, which was not correct. She so heavily medicated me that I remember only a small part of a single year of my life, during which I gained 100 pounds, which I have yet to lose. I went to a clinic for refills and was told I was too heavily medicated and refused to refill all my drugs, but wud Refill some. I declined their offer and over a period of 6 weeks took myself off all drugs which was when I discovered the weight gain. I made no improvement under her tutelage and, I'm fact , lost ground. PLS THINK SERIOUSLY BEFORE SEEING THIS DOCTOR.

This doctor has a tendency to push her own values in the therapy process. She needs to focus on her client's needs and not push her value system. She also was snowed over by a client who had and still has severe mental and drug issues. Confidentiality was also breached. It has been a long time since I have seen her but I am just now posting this because I am now aware of my rights as a client and wasn't back then. She is horrible. I DO NOT RECOMMEND HER AT ALL

Previously a 12 year long patient, Dr. Morrow suffered the loss of another patient that impacted her objectivity at a crucial moment in treatment. She erroneously hospitalized initiating PTSD symptoms, then abandoned me during a subsequent hospitalization. We're all human and make mistakes. Hers cost me custody of an adolescent child, taken by the perpetrators of my own abuse. Now an adult, that child has become a smoking, morbidly obese, sexually confused alcoholic. All I asked for was an apology. It never came.
