Dr. Lynn Ann Norris, DO

I wish to commend Dr. Norris for the outstanding transition of care from Dr. Mohamed. I was hesitant in changing providers but since he was no longer in my network, I had no choice. I found the office convenient and the staff very friendly. I thought I would give her a try. I found her to be a great listener, proactive in her care and attentive to all my other medical concerns. While others may find her abrasive as I have read in her reviews, we all must respect the fact that she has more than one patient. Being in healthcare myself, I find her amazing that she can be attentive to my needs, be a great listener and care for multiple patients each day. I believe that as patients, we all have a choice of where to go for our medical care. Be respectful of our healthcare providers and understand the we are not the only patient she is caring for. Healthcare providers are there to diagnosis, treat and follow our care. 100's of patients are under her care, each with a different… problem and not on a schedule. I appreciate you Dr Norris and the career that you have chosen. My hat is off to you for being the caring professional that you are. Keep being you and providing the quality care you deliver.

I am a 64 y/o woman who currently works as a nurse in the medical field, I work with multiple physicians in the Louisville/Lexington and Southern IN area. I admit the situation that happened to me was my error I am currently on 3 different Blood Pressure Medications I had picked up my refills on the Friday before Memorial Day weekend, somewhere between my pharmacy and home I lost my pharmacy bag. I didn’t realize they were missing until late Friday evening. My husband and I tore our house apart went through all of our household trash to no avail. Saturday morning I called my primary care physician’s office and as expected they are closed until Tuesday after the holiday. The office recording gave me a number for the “On Call Physician” for urgent matters, I called and Dr. Norris answered. I began by trying to explain my situation, she was very loud, kept interrupting me, as I tried to talk with her. When I finally was able to get her to understand her comments were as follows:… “I am busy in the hospital, I can’t guarantee I will be able to take care of this, it will have to wait until I get home which will be late tonight”. She then proceeded to inform me that my insurance probably won’t pay for this, “and you will have to pay for it “. This was surprising to me as how would she know about my insurance or my ability to pay or not pay for this much needed medication, her attitude wasn’t how can I help as much as why are you bothering me with your stupidity in losing your medications. I calmly stated if you believe I should wing it for the next 30 days without my BP medications, then okay, at that point she started to back track, but again “No guarantee’s when or even if she could help me”. I have dealt with a lot of physicians, but never have I came across one that was so uncaring, so rude and made me feel stupid for even admitting losing my medications! So I called my physician’s office back (I love my primary care physician, she is wonderful) and just left a message on how I was treated by Dr. Norris, and that I guess I would have to wing it over the next 3 days without my BP meds, I would call them on Tuesday to try and get the meds reordered, this of course depends on me not having a stroke before then. After reading previous reviews I feel much better knowing that Dr Norris should not be practicing medicine she has no business with dealing with people who are not at their best and depend on our health care providers to be there for us. I will never be in a position to where I would have to deal with her again! And Dr Norris please read your negative reviews there are so many of us that have experienced your uncaring condensing, uncaring manner, you really need to decide if being a healthcare provider is right for you, because at this point you are not right for the patients that need you!

After Dr. Mo left, we were looking for a different dr. Life happened and I was forced to take my daughter there when she got sick. I’m glad we went. She was very informative, professional, kind and down to earth. Very easy to talk to. We’ve changed drs.. Dr. Norris is now our dr. I would recommend giving her a chance and forming your own opinion. We did and I’m glad for it.

She has to be one of the worst physicians I have ever encountered. She would not do a PA for a medication that my mother had been on for years and said she would just switch it to another one. It had serious affects and caused major issues for her. She was in the hospital and was diagnosed with a herniated esophagus after several test, but she came in and told her that "they tell everyone that" and she didn't have one and it was just a stomach bug! She would not prescribe any meds, etc. it was a mess. Her office staff is as incompetent as she is. They are not help in getting anything done for patients. But, I am sure that stems from her. I will be making formal complaints to Baptist Health. How this woman calls herself a physician is a shame. This is not a profession she should be in, her patient care is less than adequate.

Dr Norris is without a doubt one of the most incompetent doctors that my family has ever seen. She responded to a complication following my wife's surgery and completely missed diagnosed her condition. Another doctor on the hospital staff saw my wife and gave the proper diagnosis as did other health care professionals. A doctor unrelated to the hospital or the network was called in the solve the problem as Dr. Norris left her untreated for 2 days. She was in a lot of pain. Dr Norris was only concerned with absolving her group of financial responsibility and not only chose the most unlikely cause for the complication but perjured herself in the process. Find another doctor.

Had an appointment for 10:00am I called to let them know I was on my way and running late because of a 2 hour delay and the stupid light on st rd 60 from Pekin, IN. They said ok that's fine after 10:10 you can not be seen. I arrived at 10:12am and they wouldn't see me. There was not a soul in the waiting room and no one walked in for another 10 mins while sitting in the parking lot. But they were booked and couldn't reschedule me. I drove 45mins to see a her.

I was just informed after trying to get a hold of Dr. Norris for several days to make an appointment she is no longer in practice on State St. office. It would be professional of anyone who is making changes to inform people of these changes.

She is rude and arrogant. Our doctor is on leave and she is "filling" in for him. We were told that she requested to see our son due to some medical issues. When she walked in -she asked us why we were there. The office is in total chaos and she is not malign it any better. Looking in to new medical practices for my family

She was observant as well as listened. That's a plus in my book!

My daughter seen Dr. Norris today for the 1st and last time. She was extremely hateful and rude. My daughter has back issues that is part of her of medical history and as she told Dr. Norris her history, Dr. Norris smarted off. She based her diagnoses for the this visit based on our history instead of doing tests and no exam. Dr. Norris told my daughter she had to see a different doctor. Why pay a copay for a visit if we were just going to be sent somewhere else. The office did not take the copay but I'm sure we will be billed and if we are I refuse to pay it to her for nothing. I will be filing a complaint with the medical licensing board against Dr. Norris. Dr. Norris has no business in this profession.
