Dr. Lynn Petty Parker, MD

She truly cares about her patients more than any doctor I have ever seen. She is the most compassionate physician I have ever known. I recommend her to everyone, God forbid, if they are ever facing cancer.

Dr. Parker did ovarian cancer surgery on me in 2014. I could have never found a better doctor anywhere. Dr. Parker and her whole team became family to me. In my book Dr. Parker is the best. I would recommend her above anyone

Dr. Parker has cancelled two appointments on me already and I have not even met her. I was recommended to her by my PCP. If she cancels again, I will be looking elsewhere for a doctor. People do not get referred to an oncologist for no reason.

After having a terrible experience at another local cancer center, I was advised by a caring friend to go to The James Graham Brown Cancer Center. Dr. Parker was highly recommended to me and after telling her staff my situation, I was seen within one day. I took my records with me when I left the other clinic. The only reason I waited one day was so she could have a chance to look at my records. She told me that she didn't know how I was standing in front of her because for all that had happened to me I should have already died. She picked up when another doctor messed up. I was a VERY sick woman when I saw her. She is the reason I am alive today. I just hit my five year cancer free date and I have to thank Dr. Parker for that. She never rushes me, always answers my questions, tells me exactly what she is going to do and genuinely seems to care how I am doing. If you have to wait a little while in the waiting room for your appointment, don't be upset because when you finally… get to see her, you will understand why.I honestly cannot say enough good things about Dr. Parker. She is amazing. How many doctors hug their patients and it's a hug that I can feel is sincere. She feels like a sister to me and she has treated me with the love and respect, care and concern that I think she would treat her own sister or mother. Having vaginal cancer was the scariest thing in the world for me to go through. Almost dying at the hands of another doctor was horrible but Dr. Parker has taken care of me since 2004 and continues to go above and beyond what I have ever experienced with any other doctor. She is amazing. She is a special person with a very special gift. Thank you Dr. Parker, nurses and staff for all of your care and kindness. Thanks to you, I am here to enjoy my first grandchild!

If you are lucky enough to have Dr. Parker to be your oncologist...thank God. She is wonderful. Very careful, never rushes, explains things well. She is very kind hearted, just a super person all together. Can't say enough good about her. Be thankful you have her.
