Excellent doctor. He saved my life.

This doctor came highly recommended to me, but after 2 weeks of calling every day, I was unable to get an appointment. The phone just rings and rings. No answering service, no voice mail, nothing. The medical group doesn't have any alternate numbers for Dr. Ramirez, and neither does my insurance company. Because I have an HMO, I'm not allowed to see any other doctor without a referral, which I can't get because I can't get in touch with Dr. Ramirez. I couldn't afford any out-of-pocket expense to see another doctor, so as a result, my bronchitis went untreated, and I ended up in the hospital. I tried calling to make a follow-up appointment, and again, I was unsuccessful. I'm changing primary care physicians, but that won't take effect until 12/1, so that's another 4 weeks I'll have to wait to see a doctor.

Great Doctor, really cares about his patients and does medicine for the sake of medicine. Not in it for the money. Wish he took my new insurance.
