Dr. Lynn-Beth Satterly, MD

Dr. Latterly is a compassionate provider with a heart for people. I recommend her to friends and family without hesitation.

I changed my primary medical care to Dr. Satterly in 2011. The only dispointment I had at all in my time under her care was when she announced that she would be leaving private practice to teach at Lemoyne. I felt and still feel so confident in her knowledge and professionalism that I referred my adult children (one of whom has extensive medical needs that not every doctor could handle) to her and also their spouses whom all stayed under her care until she left practice. I would return as would they to her care if she were ever to return to private practice.

Dr. Satterly is an all around good Family Doctor. .

I started seeing this physical in 1999 or so at the Cicero location. I found her to be an excellent, caring physician. During an extremely difficult time she took time out of her schedule to Comfort and caring while still ensuring her other patients weee cares for by other medical staff. I followed her from Cicero to Upstate and then to the Manlius location. I have asked her to sign me up as her first patient if she ever returns to her own medical practice. She prescribes what she feels her patients need. She never over prescribes. She definitely does NOT have a holier than thou attitude. She is one of the most caring compassionate physicians I have ever had the pleasure to have as my physical.

Dr. Satterly makes a special effort to make a patient feel comfortable. She explores beyond the surface of an issue so she can recommend the best treatment. She is very knowledgeable and well connected to a network of local physicians and facilities. Dr. Satterly's best attribute is her genuine concern for the well being of her patients.

The doc was my doctor for about 10 years before she left private practice, and returned to academic work full time. She always did right by me and my friends who went to her. She strives to give you want in keeping with your values, but she will always try to recommend the best medical intervention for your problem and negotiate with you if that is what is necessary. This doctor won't prescribe or do things that are not medically sound. And she always tries to provide some good patient education. Some people who write reviews here might see that as a fault. I see it as a sign of a good, ethical professional. Sometimes she'd run behind but sometimes that's to be expected. I'd follow her anywhere if she went into practice again.

This doctor used to be in private practice, but returned to full time academic work. Sometimes she works in the local urgent care and I'm always glad when she's on duty when I go there. I used to be her patient in private practice.

Kind, competent, and listens

I saw this person in urgent Care in Manlius. She is arrogant, rude and has a holier than thou attitude. I would not tecommend her for the care of my goldfish. Stay away

In my experience with Dr Satterly I feel like she never listened to me and was more concerned with staying on her timeline than the patient. I also found her to be on a total power trip. When I asked a question, she actually told me not to question her because SHE was the medical professional, not me! If you want a doctor that cares about you as a person and who is willing to partner with you in your healthcare, sadly Dr Satterly is not it.
