Dr. Lynn C Sayre-Carstairs, DMD

Dr. Sayre-Carstairs joined Coast Periodontics in 1995 and as the dentist and practice owner, transformed the periodontal services offered to residents of the Central Coast.By adding laser dentistry – both surgical and non-surgical – the practice became Coast Periodontics and Laser Surgery. Dr. Sayre-Carstairs provides the cutting edge of options for patients suffering from gum disease and prides herself on always trying to help periodontal patients keep their natural teeth. This desire has led to countless hours of continuing education around the world seeking the latest technologies to improve oral health.Dr. Sayre-Carstairs is a graduate of Wellesley College in Wellesley, MA. Her BA degree is in psychobiology and her research focused on olfaction. Her DMD degree is from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Upon graduation, Dr. Sayre-Carstairs moved to Los Angeles to begin the periodontal program at the University of Southern California.
