Dr. Lynn L Whimpey

Lynn L. Whimpey, D.D.S., M.S.D. 
Dr. Whimpey did his undergraduate studies at the University of Utah. He was accepted to the University of Washington Dental School in the fall of 1960 and completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1964. He was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the honorary dental society upon graduation. Dr. Whimpey practiced general dentistry in Raymond, Washington before returning to the University of Washington for his orthodontic training in 1967 and received his Master of Science in Dentistry Degree in 1970. He and his family moved to Federal Way, Washington in August of 1970 and established the first orthodontic practice in that city. Dr. Whimpey and his wife have eight children and twenty-three grandchildren. Away from the office Dr. Whimpey is active in his church, involved in musical events and enjoys flying. He is a member of Angel Flight West and provides flights into major medical centers to individuals who need medical treatment and assistance …in getting to their treatment from outlying areas.
Judy Walsh
Judy is our Office Manager. She handles our treatment coordination, scheduling, insurance filing and financial arrangements. She has over 20 years of experience in the dental field and has been with our office4 for over 5 years. Judy has lived in Federal Way since 1975 and graduated from DecaturHigh School. She received her certification in dental assisting at Utah Valley State College. Judy has been married to Jack for 27 years, they have 5 children and 2 grandsons. Judy enjoys traveling to warm climates and spending time on the water. She keeps busy with church activities, her kid’s ballroom dance teams, her large extended family, shopping and being with her friends.
Annette LaPlante
Annette has lived in the Federal Way area most of her life and graduated from Federal Way High School. Annette was trained as an orthodontic assistant in 1985. She has worked in several orthodontic offices in the South King County area since that time. She has worked in our office for the past seven years. She stays current in her training required by the state and enjoys our patients and the opportunity to work on them She has recently moved to the Bonney Lake area with her two children and loves spending time with them. She enjoys playing with her children outdoors, hiking, cycling, wave boarding, football, etc.. During quiet times she enjoys music, movies and reading good books.
Cindy Fischer
Cindy has been our lab technician for the past fifteen years. She has lived in the Bonney Lake area all of her life and graduated from Sumner High School. She has two daughters, two step sons and five grandchildren. She and her husband enjoy the great outdoors by camping, hiking, boating and quad riding in the Oregon dunes with family and friends.
