Dr. Choy is very thorough and considerate. She took the time to sit down with me before my surgery and listen to all my concerns and addressed them all in turn. I felt so nervous before talking to her because anesthesia was my biggest fear, but afterwards I felt reassured that she had the situation under control. I have had several surgeries and this was by far the best experience with an anesthesiologist that I have had. Highly recommmend.

It is not often that an anesthesiologist takes the time to speak to patients the night before surgery, so imagine my surprise when I received a call the night before! She asked me some general health questions and thoroughly explained the anesthetic and preoperative process to me. I had the opportunity to ask questions, which were answered in great detail. The next day, she met me in the waiting area and went over some more salient points. This greatly reduced my anxiety about undergoing anesthesia.
