Dr. Lynne Hung, MD

28 years of experience yet zero bedside manner. I have heard glowing reviews about this doctor in terms of her knowledge and expertise but she was not only rude to my father while he was in hospital, she was downright harmful. He had a life-saving emergency surgery 2 days before and was still pretty groggy from anesthesia and pain meds when she sauntered in to his hospital room. Giving her the benefit of the doubt, maybe she misread his confusion and efforts to understand her conversation as defiance, but she threatened that he was going to have a stroke and "end up drooling out one side of the face" unless he did exactly what she wanted. He had no intentions of non-compliance, just wanted to understand. She prescribed a medication but did not alert the nurse she had changed his protocol. Dad had a full blown anxiety attack after her visit and needed meds to calm him back down - definitely not good for the heart. Her second visit with him was slightly better but still very rough around… the edges. We have a follow up appointment with her in a few weeks and Dad is very hesitant to see her. We are willing to give Dr. Hung another chance but no matter how good a doctor she is, if this appointment is as bad as the hospital visits we will find another physician. Will update this review after our visit.

arrived early for appointment seen before my scheduled time after all my processes that had to be done and my nurse fulfilling her duties was almost immediately seen by dr hung was in and out in about 45 minutes

Not sure how she is with other patients, but she was short and rude to my mother. Her lack of professionalism makes it seem like she doesn’t care about her patients.

Efficicient, compassionate, capable Dr Hung and her staff were amazing. They exceeded my expectations. I developed a dysrhythmia when I was on an out of state trip and I came back to town and was able to get in to see her in a matter of days. She listens attentively and I had a good discussion with her about possibilities and options which all started of course with the testing. All the testing was completed on the floor of her office in her building so it was very convenient and the staff and the testing areas were also great. Once I complete amb monitoring I am going back to her to walk through the test results and come up with a plan. Because of my initial experiences I am confident that my problem will be capably and completely addressed. Many thanks my primary care doctor who recommended her.

Dr. Hung has an "God" complex and thinks she knows it all. OR room was a nightmare for me with her--she was late, worked beyond anesthesia despite my cries to stop. She needs to stop "playing" at being a surgical doctor. More experience needed in the OR so she is not experimenting on live patients. Law suits pending.

Dr. Hung is knowledgeable and very direct, a quality I appreciate. She takes time with you without wasting your time.

As a doctor in her office she took her time with me and was professional. After some tests her recommendation was to implant a cardiac monitor. That's when all went sour. In the operating room she started by being rude , petty and bully with the staff with no justifiable reason . Very embarrassing .Then , a second after pulling out the needle from local anesthesia ,without waiting for the area to go numb ,proceeded to implant the monitor. It was extremely painful and her response was "I have done 200+ cases and no one has complained " ,no apology and a lot of arrogance. Suffice to say she is no longer my doctor.
