If I could zero stars, I would. This terrible doctor prescribed an anti-depressant medication to my 90-year-old mother with dementia. She told our family it was a medication to "increase appetite" and had no side effects. WRONG! My mother was hallucinating and became so agitated she wouldn't eat! Was this doctor concerned? Did she check up on my mom? NO! She could have cared less. When I insisted the medication be stopped, the hallucinations went away. THEN, this month, this terrible doctor ok'd stopping my mother's neuropathy medication cold-turkey and did not inform our family. My mom has MS and for 7 days I watched as my mother endured excruciating pain that even morphine would not relieve. I could not understand it. I'm not a medical professional but started wondering if it was nerve pain. When I asked if she was still receiving her neuropathy meds, I was told yes--then when I went to the nursing home and asked to see the chart, I found out that they had discontinued the meds 7… days prior without telling us. If you care about your parent, stay away from this incompetent, uncaring doctor.

Dr. Langlois was an average doctor when I was well and saw her once a year (getting blood lab orders etc). I thought she was great back then because she was nice and gave me free samples. She smiled, but seemed anxious, had minimal eye contact, and did not seem to really have genuine compassion as I look back. When I finally really needed a doctor, I called her. She didn't even think I needed to come in, was insensitive, and extremely rude. It was very odd since she seemed to like me and I never "bothered" her. She made me feel like I was a bother, was faking illness, and was out for money. She was not a patient advocate. She blamed my issues on age and depression which were both totally wrong and only symptoms. She didn't refer me to other medical experts that could have helped. Appointments were always short and curt. After some years of seeing different "integrative" MD's and the medical practitioners they referred me to, I have finally gotten the validation and help I… desperately needed. I am not going to be specific about my situation because I understand a Doctor can sue you if you affect their business. I lost years, health, and money due to misdiagnoses or a lack of advocacy.

I was a patient of Dr.Langlois for 26 yrs. If I still lived in Wisconsin, I'd still be her patient. She talks fast and some people may take that to mean they're being rushed but that isn't the case. She will spend as much time with you as needed. She is very tenacious when looking for the root of the problem. I just wish I could find a Dr as caring where I live now.
